INTRODUCTION
Mental health is the wellbeing of cognitive behavior and emotional wellbeing. Through
which individual can cope up from there stress. Mental health illness and disorder situation when
cognitive, behavior and emotional health of the people is abnormal which cannot be managed by
themselves. In the nursing understanding mental health is the brief analysis and is study of
individuals mental health that how it could be and how it is (Holmberg, C., Caro, J., & Sobis, I.
(2018) . By making the difference between mental health wellbeing and mental illness symptoms
of the individuals nurses can make effective decisions for their care. In nursing study of the
complex mental health case is important skill by which nurses can understand the common
requirement of mental health patient and use appropriate technique for or their cure. One of the
common mental health disorders is schizophrenia under this individual thinking, feeling and
behavior ability get affected. In this report the complex case study of patient mental health
situation is going to be assess along with the consideration of different important it concepts and
techniques of mental health management. Such as mental health act and registered nurses’
responsibility in context to complex mental health situation is going to be analyses and evaluate
for effective care of individual (Strassnig, M., (2018).

Mental health act in context to case study
According to the mental health legislation and human rights in Australia, is involving
different rules and regulations along with the code of conduct for nurses related to the acute
mental health illness. This act enables the effective involuntary commitment and treatment of
people who are suffering with acute mental health issues. This use to balance the civil liberties in
order to prevent harm and provide effective care. John mental health situation is acute due to the
adverse symptoms of acute mental illness such as auditory hallucination and medical history of
schizophrenia. So, in order to provide effective care that is important to apply the mental health
act because that is involving all important regulations and guidelines related to the mental health
care of individuals. Objective of the mental health act is to provide effective mental health care
treatment and support. According to this treatment and care practices have to be discussed with
the patient and they should be supported to make their own decisions related to the treatment it
