As per the personal and professional development, I have improved a lot and many of my skills got amended.
Now, I am able to communicate effectually with the people and make them understand in the same manner I

which is more important to be improved. As my work is more of interacting people than using software, so, I
need to work on the same.

TASK 3
AC 4.1 Select appropriate solutions to the above work-based problems.
For the above based problems, that is, the skills to be improved, solutions are stated as below:
Problem solving model: With the help of six step problem solving model, the issues can
be solved as per which at first, the problem will be defined and then root cause of the issue will
be found and for the same, alternative solutions will be developed. After that, the best suitable
solution will be selected that will be implemented and at last, the outcomes gained will be
evaluated.
Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory: As per this theory, management needs to assess
the actual needs of employees and then it has to fulfil the same (Mumford, et. al., 2011).
According to this theory, if the actual level of need on which an employee falls is fulfilled,
motivating him/her becomes easy for the firm. Therefore, it is important to identify the level
which are like physiological, social, safety, esteem and self-actualisation.
Doing one thing at a time: In order to resolve above stated issues, the most effective
time management principle is to do a single task at a time and completing it within deadline. It
will help in gaining the quality work with increased efficiency (Miller, 2014).
AC 4.2 a. Write a formal letter to the CEO of Global link UK to organise meeting

Respected Sir,
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to take care of the process of the organisation. I
hereby want to inform you that company is facing several internal issues due to which employee
turnover is increasing and absenteeism is also increasing. Due to increase in employee turnover
we are unable to manage the staff and are facing issues in providing the training to the
employees. So, sir please visit the premises and help us by providing your valuable time. It is
required that a meeting should be called which should have each and every member working in
the organisation (McLeod, 2015).
Your invitation for the meeting will be considered as more effective with the effect of which
more people will get influenced to attend the meeting. With due respect, it is a request please
gather a meeting so that effective solutions could be provided in relation with the problem that is
being faced by the company. The date and time of meeting will be on Monday, 23rd April’ 2017
at sharp 3 p. m. It will be beneficial for the staff as their issues will be solved in a way that they
