INTRODUCTION
The real reason of doing job is to make money. For each and every individual, work is an
important feature in order to create their personal as well as social identity. It is a way of making
money and accessing numerous essential services and activities that are highly important to order
to run their life effectively (Verkoeijen, P., 2019). This report will highlight the concept of the
reason for people working along with different motivation factors that control them in order to
maintain in their employment roles. Moreover, it also describes the optimistic and pessimistic
factors that effect from individual job roles along with their impact.
MAIN BODY
Meaning of Motivation
Motivation is an emotional force that directs the performance of an individual or group of people
within the work place. There are two major types of motivation which includes intrinsic as well
as extrinsic approach of motivation. Intrinsic approach is an action of doing something without
any external reward. Employees are ready to perform any tasks because of their own interests
rather than any other outside incentive or reward to do any activity. Intrinsic inspiration carries
tough connection with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs thought in which individuals are stimulated
to arrive at at the top level, the needs that people essentially tries their best to reach with
physiological requirements and development through protection, esteem, belongingness until
they have reached self actualization achieving complete impending. The second kind of
inspiration is extrinsic approach which is described as reward driven behaviour of an individual
in order to motivate their staff members. This approach includes promotional incentives which
include praise, money, awards, fame and many other activities (Vyver, G., 2017).
Factors which motivate employees to work
Motivation is an activity that creates an environment of satisfaction among employees within the
organization. It has been analysed that the more motivated an employee is the more likely they
are able to reach the organizational targets. Employee management are highly important to
employees’ happiness (Potkány, M., 2018). Sometimes there might some situations arises in
which employees feel their targets and goals as unattainable from their viewpoint and thus in
order to complete the job resourcefully, managers have to persuade them. This is the reason that
