According to Gudipati Rajendera Kumar, (2017), in India the rate of growth and
development of the country is increasing rapidly and this has impacted positively on the
economy of the country. A country cannot be treated as developing when it is moving towards
only one aspect but it is important for it come up in respect of all the aspects that contribute
towards the successful growth and development of the country. In case of India, the growth
aspect is about Women Employees. The development is clear as the women employees are also
provided a chance to show their talent in various fields and this has also proved to much extent
that women can also work and in some cases, more better than even men.
Women are employed on large basis in the organisations on the basis of their talent. Not only this

the growth can be said as the sustainable growth of the country. The government has also
understood this as the women are present at the big posts in the country and they also possess the
equal right and opportunity to be provided as equal to men. As taking a look upon the past few
decades performance, it is clear that economy is developing rapidly and the women are playing
an important roles in making it successful.
However, in some cases it could be seen that women are discriminated on the basis of
work, education and on many grounds which is also a gender based violence that discourages
them. From the recent statistical data, it is also clear that with the increase in the income, women
are provided with the opportunity to escape labour in farms and on construction sites. But
another also says that women are provided with a large number of work opportunities in different
sector and also a big posts of the country which are now controlled by women.
The global burden of competition on the companies has also made their employees to
work on the weekends as well as on the increasing working hours also. This has made difficult
for the women to manage their work as well as the families as well. The work family balance
also requires the increased participation of men also in both the family as well as the office work
also. Beyond education, skilling, pay parity, the women are provided with extra opportunity to
work in the political and leadership positions also.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is the process applied by researcher to gather or collect proper
information about the role of women empowerment towards SEMs development in India. In this
section of research, different number of useful methods will be included which will help an
investigator to do each activities of study in systematic manner (Idris and Agbim, 2015). Some
important and useful research methods will be determined as under:
Research philosophy-
Research philosophy is the outermost layer in research onion which provides complete
information about aspects which are covered in research. This is the technique which is used to
analyse changes which are taking place while conducting research. There are two types of
research philosophy i.e. positivism and interpretivism which helps to get positive outcome as
conclusion and recommendations (Kabeer, 2016). In this research there is use of positivism
philosophy which helps to provide complete data about research and this is the contending
philosophy which helps researcher to achieve aims and objectives. On the other side,
interpretivism philosophy is not useful because it take more time of a researcher.
Research design:
Each activities of research is mainly depend on research design. It is categorised into
three section such as exploratory, experimental and descriptive (Kalokhe and et. al., 2017). All
these types of research design are essential but according to the current study, descriptive design
will be used. As it will help an investigator to drive valid conclusion towards the research topic.
Research Approach
It is an effective and useful part of research which is divided into two part which is
inductive and deductive. Both are consider important types of research approach which will help
an investigator to collect accurate and reliable information about the topic. In case of inductive
approach, researcher must be collect quality and accurate information about the role of women
empowerment towards SEMs development in India (Keenan, Kemp and Ramsay, 2016). On the
other side, under deductive approach, information about the data collected in form of hard facts,
numbers etc. Both approaches of research are important but according to the topic, inductive
approach is used because it will assist a researcher to accumulate appropriate information about
the study. This approach will also help them to drive valid conclusion about the topic.

Data Collection:
Data is most important aspect which helps to understand and know information related to
research topic. Research is authentic when data presented is collected from authentic source, so it
is important to analyse and collect information from best source. There are two sources to collect
information i.e. primary and secondary. For accumulating primary information, questionnaire
will be used by investigator (Kozubíková, Homolka and Kristalas, 2017). As this instrument help
them to collect reliable and valid data about the role and contribution of Women towards
development of SMEs in India. On the other side, for accumulating secondary information,
books, journals, articles etc. sources will be applied. As it will help an investigator to gather in-
depth and proper information about the study. Both method of research are essential but
according to the current topic, primary research shall be used by researcher.
Ethical considerations:
There are basically 4 ethical issue face by researcher such as informed consent,
anonymity, confidentiality and Data storage and security, both during and after the research
(including transfer, sharing, encryption, protection). All these are major principles in research
ethics which should be followed by researcher (Kumar, Hossain and Gope, 2015). As it will help
them to conduct research in systematic and effective manner. There are different important
points are covered in ethical consideration are determined as under:
Respondents shall be provided consent form, detailing or descripting the data needed, and
their rights within an investigation.
Market survey may be self administered as well as recorded with prior appointment.
Data acquired may be manipulated.
Research reliability and validity:
This part of research methodology is most essential which is mainly depend on primary
instrument. Questionnaire is identify as an useful instrument of primary research which will
assist an investigator or researcher to collect reliable as well as valid information about the study.
This tool will also support a researcher to draw valid conclusion and gain better advantages for
the research (Mishra and Sam, 2016).

Timeline:
Time is the crucial resource which is required to conduct research. As there are many
activities which has to be considered by researcher such as introduction, setting aims and
objectives, literature review, etc. So proper time is slotted to each activity which helps to
complete research within specified time. Time scale is the research tool which helps to achieve
aims and objectives within specified time (Vinayagamoorthy, 2017). Researcher must convey
allotted time of each activity to team mates, so they perform activities appropriately and in
authentic manner. For this Gantt Chart is consider best tool which will help a researcher to
identify starting and ending time duration for completion of each activities of research. In this
chart, different number of activities will be included which is development of aims and
objectives, creation of literature review, development of different research methods, collection
and analysation of data and conclusion and recommendations. All these are identified as an
essential and main activities which is used by researcher to complete each tasks or activities of
investigation in systematic time duration.

Sample size:
Sample size for this investigation is determined by using SPSS. It is software in which
sample size can be determined using the total population. In this case, total population of
respondents is 49 from which 58% of random sampling using approximation is taken which has
given the sample size of 30. This sample size is gained randomly from the overall population
(Vinayagamoorthy, 2017).
Conclusion
From the above mentioned information, it has been concluded contribution of women
entrepreneurs towards development and growth of India. Along with this, small scale industries
play vital role in development of Indian economic as well as development of Women. Proper
empowerment for women will also help a small scale industry by increasing its growth and
development. As it will also effective and important in development of India's economy. Along
