INTRODUCTION
The staff handling department is defined as managing, organising, controlling and
monitoring of activities in an organisation(Albrecht and et, al., 2015). It is important that there
should be effective balance between workforce and flow of operations, that help firm to attain
desired objectives. These aims vary from organisation to organisation, depending on their
current position in market. The important factor of production include labour which are core,
for sustaining and growing business in competitive market. The present report is based on
Chocola Fantastica that is situated in South Wales. The product offered by this organisation are
chocolate based greeting cards that are tailormade to customer in local market of UK. Further,
this report consists of purpose and importance of HR function in an organisation. Thereafter,
advantage and disadvantage of recruitment and selection methods have been identified. In
addition, welfare of applications of several HRM practices and its capabilities have been
discussed. Also, significance of employee relationship, as well as application of HRM practice
have been involved in this report.
TASK 1
P1 Explain objectives and function of HRM applicability in planning human resource.
The personnel department are considered to be very important element in handling each
department and operation of business activities in effective manner within an organisation(Chen
and et. al., 2016). Along with managing workforce, aim of HR managers is to hire skilled
applicants in work culture. It has been productive method to manage workforce in right way, so
that maximum opportunities are grabbed by Chocola Fantastica. Also management have to deal
in satisfying employee, by providing various perks and incentives to staff member,to reduce
employment turnover rate to some extent in manufacturing industry. The aim of human resource
department is to increase performance of employee, as well as productivity of firm in any
industry.
Objective of HRM in application to human resource planning-
An structured aim of personnel management are to analyse demand of workforce and
accordingly fulfil need with hiring talented applicant in work culture of Chocola Fantastica.
Apart from hiring, management should also give emphasis on providing training to their existing
staff, so that work are performed in systematic manner.

management through selecting appropriate employee and decides employee suitable professional
to fulfil employment need in working environment. Recently, human resource are facing

as employee in work culture.
Learning: This main function that include continuous learning of employee and
employer in corporate culture. It has been identified that many firm are generating revenues in

attracting, short listing, selecting and appointing suitable candidates for job within an
organisation. In other words, recruitment can also define as choosing individual for unpaid roles
in working environment. On other hand, selection process involves screening of candidates
through various level structure by interviewer in recruitment procedures.The manager of
Chocola Fantastica, are planning tom conduct various test to screen applicants in recruitment
procedures. All these screening methods are as follows:
Selection: The selection is defined as process that differentiate between job applicant to
screen and hire those who can attain success while working on specific job profile. The screening
criteria different in every company, depending in which industry they are serving. The selection
procedures involves systematic procedure such as screening of applications, employment test,
