the area of study from different perspective. The literature review act as creating a foundation for

primary information over the study.

major issue of paramount which is very crucial for the individual, families, government,
organizations ands society. The changes within the technological as well as economic
environment has enhanced the pressure of employees and organization as well. Addition to this
with the increasing presence of women within organization the nuclear families as well as earner
couple increases the requirement of work life balance among worker which results into an
integral part of employee expectation from the employer. In case, when the worker found it
difficult to manage balance between their work and life then it leads to decrease in their morale

as well as motivation to perform work which in turn have a direct influence over their
productivity and the organizational performance at a larger scale. This has provided a new
definition to career success. Now the career success sis not remain limited to promotions as well
as lucrative assignment but also presented an ability to balance between the non work and work
life. In context to that, managing the organizational policies and practices to relation with
providing a work life balance to employees has now found biggest challenge for employer
(Bansal and Agarwal, 2019).

become able to priorities the time and energy between personal and professional life. This is one
of the major concern for organization to delegate the role and responsibilities in such a manner
that employees be able to maintain a balance between their personal and professional life. This is
so because when employees have a balanced work and life then it will help them in staying stress
free while working which in turn provide the with intrinsic motivation to perform their role in
effective manner. This in turn support Matalan Retail Ltd. in maintain a workforce with full
motivation and enthusiasm which contribute toward enhancing their performance and at the same
time support in achieving the success and competitive edge at marketplace. Despite of all this the
Matalan Retail Ltd. Must also focuses toward provide the enrichment experiences to its

The innovation practices can be achieved only by maintaining diversified workforce which
integrate different skills, experience and capability to execute new idea each time. So, by
maintaining diversity at workplace the Matalan Retail Ltd. Become able to maintain the offer
high quality [product and services. But this thing doesn’t remain enough to operate well in
market, as to enhance the productivity and performance of employees it is crucial for the Matalan

concluded that mangemt of equality and diversity is also vital to lead and ensure better
Enrichment experience and work-life balance which can be done through implementation of
steps like Fair HR prcatises, Effective communication and Participative management.

In accordance with above research outcomes and findings of current study it has been find
out that management of equality and diversity plays vital role in leading Enrichment experience
and work-life balance. Thus, following recommendations can be made for Matalan Retail Ltd to
bring equality and diversity at Place of work which ensure better Enrichment experience and
work-life balance:
 Adoption of participative form of management is highly recommended for Matalan Retail
Ltd as it ensures and leads to a proper involvement along with participation of all
employees in strategy formulation and making of decision so that some better policies
could be lead by Matalan Retail Ltd which brings better Enrichment experience and
work-life balance.
 Implication of fair HR practises is also a viable method for Matalan Retail Ltd to ensures
enhanced workplace experience and also brings balance in work-life through ensuring
fair and equal policies for leaves and family welfare. Further, fair HR practises also
ensures equality at workplace which reduces chances of stress and anxiety in employees
that brings better Enrichment experience and work-life balance.
Chapter 7: Reflection
I am happy that I got a chance to conduct research on one of the major concern topics within
corporate world. As today, more and more employer is getting concern about providing better
working condition that not only provide its employers with job enrichment but also help them in
maintain a balance between their personal and professional life. This investigation helped me a
lot in enhancing my knowledge in this regard and also assist in improving my investigation skills
as for performing this investigation I make use of several tools and methods. For conducting this

study, I use quantitative investigation type which allow me to gather numerical fact and figure
about the area of concern. Other than this I gather information from both sources where for
secondary data I assess sources like book, article, journals etc. On other side for collecting
primary data I used questionnaire which help in collecting data in less possible time period and
also resolve my issue of time constraint. But when I regain opportunity to conduct research then
I perform interview which allow me to gather in depth information about particular area of study
by having direct interaction with respondents.
