supermarket headquartered in England. The report comprises of aim of research, objectives,
literature review, data analysis and interpretation, research outcomes, recommendation and
reflection and alternative methodology.

consider both of them equal and gave them equal rights at workplace. Each and every business
entity must create gender equality at their workplace in both management and leadership so that
the organisation can attain their organizational goals in an effective manner. Leadership and
management are the two main essential elements where every person should get equal
opportunities and does not create any kind of biasness at workplace.
To explain the importance of gender equality in leadership and management

respective company in enhancing their productivity as when employees get equal opportunity for

retail firm as they provide equal opportunities to all gender employees through this manager as

To make appropriate recommendations based on the research findings
According to the research findings there are some recommendations which help a company
in attaining their desire goal by providing equal opportunities to all gender employees. By
adopting those recommendations Asda can attract more and more customers as well as it also
increase their market value successfully which leads to growth of business successfully. As per
the recommendation respective company management and leader must conduct team work
activities in which there must be equal proportion of male as well as female employees because
through this both get habit to interact with each other. This will also help in improving
communication. In addition to this, respective company also provide same targets as well as aim
to the male and female employees along with this after the successful completion of goal
employees get proper reward or appraisal and this will be same for both male and female
employees.

It is defined as technique or procedure which is being used to examine process or

understand the reliability of topic in most effective way. There are various types of research
methods like observational, collection, experimental, simulation etc. They are used according to

types of research approaches which are use at wider scale which are inductive and deductive.
Justification: There has been deductive research approach used as it depends on the

gender equality.
Research strategy- In research,it is crucial to use effective strategies so that goals are
accomplished in correct way. It is essential for researcher to be aware about tactics so that
everything is carried out in proper manner. There are several types of strategies such as action
plan, investigations, review of literature etc. (Kossek, 2018).
Justification: In this undertaken research, survey strategy has been adopted by
researcher. Moreover, other form of strategy is use of primary and secondary data for gathering
of required data. It is used with aim of carrying out research properly. In primary data,

researcher through use of different methods. It is essential to use choices after a proper
considerations so that decision making is done properly. Moreover, choices are based on three

the research choices. Therefore, mono option is being adopted because it deliver quantitate

been questionnaire developed because it is time saving and provide the actual or authentic

After conducting the overall research, there are some sort of recommendations which needs

One of the main recommendation is that managers and leaders both need to create
positive and equal working environment for their workers so they feel motivated and
encouraged.
Another recommendation is that managers are required to adopt some legal policies
such as equal remuneration, freedom of speech, equal growth opportunities and
many more. These acts help both managers and leaders in order to conduct their
business functions more effectively and efficiently.

I am veryglad that I gotthis opportunity to conduct this research on oneof the most
emerging and interesting topic, whichis benefit of gender equality in leadership and
management. For performing this research in an effective and appropriate manner,I have used
various sort of research methods, whichincludes deduction method, quantitative research,
primary and secondary data collection method and positivism philosophy sothat the outcome
drawn is beneficial and accurate. All these strategies are quite effective for me as it assist me in
collecting all the information in a systematic manner. Furthermore, while doing this
investigation, I have faced various issues and problems which affect the accuracy of this
investigation. These issues are lack of resources, time and money for gathering information, lack
of confidence and many more. But at the end all these challenges help me in order to improve all
my lack areas and assist me in grabbing opportunities in near future as my communication skill,
problem solving skill and decision making skills are improved at the end of this research.

Alternative methodology
If talking about alternative research methodology for conducting this research in an
effective and appropriate manner is Interview. This type of research methodology is quite
effective in order to gather information from different respondents and to carry out the research
in a positive manner. This is the method which assist investigators in order to collect as well as
analyse all the qualitative information so that the whole research will concluded in an accurate
manner. It has also been said that in the present context questionnaires is the method which is
adopted but in near future if the same sort of research is going to be conducted that the best and
productive research methodology can be interview.
Conclusion
With the assistance of above stated research it has been concluded that for each and every
organization it is very essential to consider gender equality for the attainment of organizational
goals and objectives in a positive manner. It has also been identified with the help of the research
that there are some benefits and advantages gain by gender equality for both leadership and
management. In this research, primary and secondary are the data collected method along with
quantitative research approach has been used which assist in collecting all the information and
