From user to server send
1) IP Address (your personal “postman "who will carry all the information through the internet to the server) is prepared. When you click to a link you
started the flow of information and the information travel down to your own personal mail room and IP package it, labels it and send it on its way.
2) Data is ready to depart inside a packet with “labels” that contain detailed information such as the destination and your IP address
3) Your package starts its journey from the LAN network, heading to the router where it will redirect to the ISP
4) The router is provided from ISP, router forward the information into data packet.
5) As the packet leave the router they make their way into the corporate internet that has been provided by ISP
6) Head for router switch.
7) Finally, the packet has almost arrived to its final stop, but as in the ISP, it has to contain an “acceptable request that the proxy server validates.
8) At this point the server’s firewall will decide if your request meets certain criteria
9) The package is ready to be unpacked and the webserver reads your request. And your packet is recycle
From server to user receive
10. A new packet containing the information requested is sent back to your IP address.
11. This new packet travels all the way back, going through the same steps it did before
12. Again, the switches and routers redirect the information
13. The router direct the data packet to the internet.
14. The internet is provided to an organisation if user pay for it than the user will be able to access to the internet.
15. Your router check the IP address on it, and sends it straight to you.
16. The packet passes through your firewall
17. Before it’s heat back to your PC or browser the firewall from your computer make sure that it’s the right thing that you looking for.
18. This packet is unpacked by the web browser and the information (the website requested) is shown in your screen.
