INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity are considered to be a pillar for a successful organisation as it
allows the employees to present their full efforts or concentration toward the accomplishment of
organisational goal and success. The equality at workplace means providing equal treatment as
well as opportunity to its employees in term of their job so that they get best possible chance to
prove themselves capable of doing something. On the other hand, diversity refers to maintaining
a workforce where people belong to different religion, country or cultural background all
together (Idris, 2014) . The equality and diversity within an organisation support in getting a
continuous flow of innovation practices by integrating the knowledge, skills or practices of
people. But for implementing equality and diversity effectively in organisation a manager must
focuses toward developing several strategies which contribute toward personal as well as
organisational development. For performing this investigation, Aston martin Lagonda company
is taken into consideration, a British organisation that get established in year 1913. This report
put light over the aim, objectives of investigation while considering diversity and equality along
with project plan, Gantt chart and WBS structure (Bender and et. al., 2018). It also involves
methodology considered for study along with data analysis while presenting experience
throughout the study.

To understand the basic consequences of gender pay gap in organisation.
To determine the importance of employee’s retention and productivity for success of
Aston Martin Lagonda
To determine the relation between gender pay gap and decreasing employees productivity
and retention in Aston Martin Lagonda.

Literature review:-
The literature review consists of a deep analysis of data which is already available
through the published sources where the data provided by several authors are being critically
review and then presented for determining the nature of study so that further investigation can be
proceed by considering it as a base.
The consequences of gender pay gap in organisation
As per the information presented by Kundu and Lata, 2017, gender pay difference is
consider as an act of right violation where two people that belongs to similar job role within an
organisation have to face a discrimination over pay scale due to difference in their gender. This
brings up several negative consequences within an organisation in term of increasing conflicts
among the employees, absenteeism, reducing in term of profitability due to a great drop down in
productivity of employees, lower down of employee’s morale and increase in employee’s
turnover (Milman and Dickson, 2014). These all get arises due to gender pay gap which
demoralise the employees to perform well as they are not getting fair and equal treatment at
workplace. This in turn affect the performance of employees that directly influence the success
of an organisation along with its market performance.
The importance of employee’s retention and productivity for success of Aston Martin Lagonda
According to data presented by Tanwar and Prasad, 2016, the success of an organisation
wholly depends over the experience and skilled workforce that it maintains. The productive and
experienced employees ensure that it provide a continuous flow of innovative practices within
the organisation that take it to new heights. The Aston Martin Lagonda is an automotive
organisation which maintain a range of expertise in its organisation for managing the operations
in effective manner that brings up maximum outcome from the efforts put by employees
(Wallace, Lings, Cameron and Sheldon, 2014). By retaining such high skilled employees for
