INTRODUCTION
Topic
“Understanding the impact of inequality and diversity within organisation and identifying ways
to address inequality and diversity issues”
Background
Gender and racial inequality, these are two biggest and most important element that
create diversity in the organisation and its workforce. Gender inequality is the one in which
discrimination among employees is based on the idea that man and women are not equal and this
is why women in organisation are not given equal opportunities. In this racial inequality involves
that employees are discriminated on the basis of their race. In this particular race either is
discriminated or a particular race is given priority than others (Davis, 2016). Diversity can be
defined as a state in which organisation employs and create a workforce that includes people
having different characteristics on the basis of which people can be differentiated. It is important
that when organisation have diversity it is also practice effective practices for equality because
only when organisation practices equality it will be able to get the benefit of diversity within
organisation on its performance and productivity (Panova. and Hilletofth, 2018).
Overview of the Organisation
Tommies Childcare provides early years education for children aged from 0-5 years in
UK. There are 8 sites of this organisation in UK and this was opened in 1998. The
organisation brought a change in management team in which employees of the
organisation were put at its heart. The organisation employs around 82 members in staff
in which ratio is of 6% male and 94% female (HamaAttar, 2018)

Aim and objectives:
Aim - to examine issues of diversity and inequality at work place and how it can be improved
through recruitment. A case study on Captify.
Objectives:
To examine significance of diversity at work place
To identify issues of diversity and inequality
To recommend measure of recruitment in solving inequality issues
Research question
What is significance of diversity at work place?
What are the issues of diversity and inequality ?
What measure of recruitment can be taken to solve inequality issues?
Rationale
The main reason for conducting this research is to find out what types of issues occurs
in work place in diversity and inequality. Also, why those issues occurs and how it impact on
workplace diversity. In addition, it is necessary to overcome those issues so that positive
environment is created. Moreover, to get an understanding about cultural diversity and its
impact over the company and its workers as well. This is the reason that investigator carry out
this research as it provides vast and detailed information that help in improving researcher skills
and knowledge. This study is also undertaking by investigator because of their personal and
professional interest that support in making them able to successfully completing the study and
also develop innovative ways to accomplishing future research activities.

Scope of the project
Enhancing competition within industry is needed that all aspects of the firms are given equal
attention as here the aspect of the staff members is vital. Scope of the project also extends to
almost all areas regarding firms due to its concerned that are recognized diversity as well as
inequality problems within entity at various levels. It can also make the influence of the entity as
well as competitive postion within the marketplace (Mikhieieva. and Waidmann, 2017).
Timescale as well as time management
Major focuses in the project will given to the areas where the issues as well as influence is
recognised. It occurs due to correct recognition of the problem. It focuses means a problem will
understand is a problem will be solved.
Cost - It is vital aspect that impact the success of the project due to this is a resource that is vital
in order to finish project. The cost will also needed to finish such project to be $ 900.
Quality management
It is vital to assures that quality regarding project is also high. In order to manage quality regards
consistent monitoring can be undertaken. It is noticed that in order to maintain quality regarding
products to achieve the objectives that are needed for the change that can be made while doing
planning.
Communication
It includes receiving as well as sharing data or information. To maintain free flow regarding
communication particular channel is being prepared on the medium called digital medium. It will
also enable all the people that are concerned alongside project so that it can share as well as
receive the information (LaLande, 2018) .
Risk
The risk within such project is also focused on the research and information collected regarding
process. It also focuses on data collected as well as information regarding research is not
accurate and right. It will also impacts the overall success regarding project.
