Upcycling is the process in which a new product is formed by using the waste or disposed
product. The above process recycle the useless and unwanted product and creates a new or
creative product perceived with great quality. The approach of upcycling protects the nature as
well as cost effective for retail industry. The several benefits which can stated in retail uplcycling
are i.e., it saves the land to be filled by unused material, reduces the waste, minimize the use of
natural resources that helps into save several resources like water and many essential raw
material. The upcycling in retail industry gives the opportunity to artisanal work and
craftsmanship (Blank, and et. al., 2020).
By adopting the upcycling in retail industry can solve the major issue of environment
harm. The major issue in the retail industry that addressed is the given industry uses large
number of natural resources that partially affecting the environment. Emulsion of greenhouse
gases in another issue that generating the hazardous air in the environment and the main issue is
waste that landfilled by industries. The above project can solve the issue of environment waste
and could generate the sustainable nature by adopting the upcycling approach in their projects. It
helps into reusing the waste product or unwanted product that landfilled. The innovative
approach in upcycling creates the new and effective product with an artistic view that minimize
the waste as well use of less natural resources that gives the enhance the industry waste
management as well as profit margin by saving the money that would be use in dumping the
waste (Horodytska, Kiritsis,and Fullana, 2020).
The role of “producer and consumer” interacts towards the upcycling process is essential
because the consumer is the main key who demands for sustainable product that should be made
by using sustaining approaches and the producer should fulfil the demand by making appropriate
environment friendly product that produces in upcycling process. Therefore, both participant
plays a vital role in developing the sustainable approach towards upcycling process. A chain
process is formed where availability of both demand supply in necessary.

globalization is the process that influence the trend of internationalizing of production,
division of labour and open the boundaries to trade of by products and exchange of ideas and
culture. It involves geographical extension as well as functional integration. As said by Urry,
