USE OF IOT IN HEALTH CARE Abstract The paper has discussed the use of IoT in health care system. It has been seen that using the internet of things in the health care system has certain advantages. The aim of the project is to evaluate the effect on the health care sector. In order to analyse this, qualitative data are collected to gather the information. The results indicate that the use of IoT has provided many advantages in the health care sector. The conclusion is drawn from the factors mentioned in the discussion. Keywords:Internet of Things, ICT, health care management. Introduction Use of emerging technology has been implemented in the different sectors of the industry. The use of such emerging technology is the using Internet of Things or IoT. Use of IoT is extensively used in healthcare sector (Yeh, 2016). There are certain advantages of using the IoT in the healthcare sector such as increasing of the efficiency. The main objective of this paper is to discuss about advantages of adapting the IoT for the development in the healthcare sector (Yang et al., 2016). It has been seen that along with use of the IoT in the health care sector the synchronization between different departments can be achieved. Apart from that managing of data and information can be managed in a proper way through the use of the IoT in the health care sector. Methods and materials Research method indicates processes those were followed during the conduction of the research. It has been seen that the proper conduction of the research will deliver the proper outcome. A.Data collection method
USE OF IOT IN HEALTH CARE Data collection method indicates methods for gathering of the data required for the research purpose. The types of data collection methods can be implemented- Primary Data Collection method and Secondary data collection method. In primary data collection, the collection of the data is done from the surveys and the interviews (Farahani et al., 2018). On the other hand, in secondary data collection, the datacollectedfromjournalsandarticles.Inthisresearch, thesecondarydata collection is done. B.Analysis of raw data Analysis of data can be done in two ways- qualitative analysis of data and quantitative analysis of data (Catarinucci et al., 2015). In the qualitative analysis of data the analysis is done through the research theories and the frameworks (Bhatt, Dey & Ashour, 2017). On the other hand in the quantitative analysis the research is done on the basis of the numerical values and statistical data. In this paper the qualitative data analysis is used for the research. Result It has been seen that use of the IoT in the health care sector has helped this industry significantly. One of the advantage that health care industry is getting from the use of IoT is the managing of the data effortlessly (Plageras et al., 2016). Apart from that it has been seen that the use of the IoT health acre has provided a way for the patients to interact with the doctors in an easier way. Through the review of the different journals it has been seen that different medical service providing systems can be implemented through the use of the IoT. In some cases, the collaboration of the other technology is occurring along with the IoT is also implemented for the better results or functioning (Yuehong et al., 2016). In this context the use of the big data technology for the further improvement of the system can be mentioned.

USE OF IOT IN HEALTH CARE From evaluating the situation of health care industry before and the after of the using the internet if things (Yang et al., 2016). The evaluation of the situation clearly shows that the use of internet of things has improved overall situation of the health care industry. Patients can interact with health care professionals easily through the interactive system driven by the IoT. However, it has been seen there are certain issues about using the IoT in health care system (Catarinucci et al., 2015). Most of these are the security issues related with the system implemented through IoT. It can be said that the proper implementation of the steps can be helpful for the mitigation of these issues. Discussion The use of IoT has been used extensively in the health care industry. It has been seen that use of IoT comes with the additional technology like big data. IoT along with the big data is playing an significant role for overall development of project (Catarinucci et al., 2015). Through this application the data and the information from the patients are collected. Those information are then analysed for the development of the ideas those are needed to be implemented for the further development of the services. The interactive systems can be implemented through using IoT. These types of interactive process will be helpful if patient is unable to reach to the doctor. In this situation the doctor can help the patients through the interactive system, giving the instructions to the patients. Apart from that, it can be mentioned that the use of the IoT in the field of the health care will be beneficial for medical professionals to keep the track of the health records and information related to the patients. In this context, digitization of health record system can be mentioned.
USE OF IOT IN HEALTH CARE Healthcare industrial IoT is another example of the use of IoT in the health care management. It is an interconnected application that will check, monitor and analyse the results for the elderly patients (Wu et al., 2017). In case, if any abnormality is detected, the system will automatically inform the doctors or the nearby health care clinic regarding the possible health risks of the patients. Apart from that the flow of information can be done in a secured way between mobile devices and cloud system in the process. Application of the Internet of Things in health care sector can also be defined as Internet of Medical Things. Using the Internet of Medical Things will be helpful to increase the productivity in the health care industry (Thota et al., 2018). Apart from that the use of this technology has helped to increase the connectivity between the medical professionals and the patients. With the certain significance of using the IoT in health care system, there are some of the issues and challenges related to this system. It has been seen that with the use of the IoT system, there is a chance of potential threats to violate the functioning of the system (Khan, 2017). It has been seen that for the most cases, violation of the security can be initiated easily through the IoT (Kumar et al., 2018).This will hamper the privacy of the data (Salunke & Nerkar, 2017). Apart from that it has been seen that the most of the information transferred through the IoT system are confidential and private in nature. The breaching of these information will lead certain threats for both health care professionals and the individual patients. There are some non-technical obstacles those are identified in this course. It has been seen, as the use of the IoT is apparently a new and emerging technology, the employees in the organization may not feel comfortable in operating the system (Yang et al., 2016). In this
USE OF IOT IN HEALTH CARE situation, there can be a problem to carry in the organizational functionality in a proper way. This will affect the productivity of the organization. Conclusion The discussion is regarding the development and the application of IoT in the health care sector. Use of IoT has helped health care industry to initiate many innovative steps. It has been seen that the use of IoT is also implemented with the help of the technology of other domain. In this context, the paper has discussed the use of big data along with the IoT in the health care domain. However, it has been found out that using IoT health care system has certain challenges like security challenge. The initialization of the external attacks can be done easily through IoT devices. The attacks in the health care system initiated by IoT can breach the data and information of the patients and the health care provider which is not desirable. From the discussion, it can be said that there certain advantages of using IoT in health care industry. Certain improvisation and modification in the system has been done through the use of IoT. Apart from that, it has been seen that there are certain challenges associated with use of IoT in the health care system. However, it can be said that with taking proper measures, these challenges can be mitigated through the systematic way. Journal Synopsis The discussion is regarding the use of IoT in health care industry. It has been seen that the IoT as enabled the way for the further improvement of the health care services through the use of the connected device. In case, if the patients are not able to go to the hospital, the doctors can treat the patients form the distance place through the connected devices. Apart from that maintaining the medical data and information can be easily handled through the use of the IoT. However, there are some issues and problems regarding the use of the IoT in the
