I) Brief explanation about resources that are to be utilized in teaching as well as learning process
There are various resources available in the subject of education as well as training that
can be utilized as methods to teach during ongoing classroom sessions. This approach increases
learning practice in addition; it provides interest to learners who would get an opportunity to
form a strong foundation in experiences in learning (Gould and Roffey-Barentsen, 2014). As it
was indicated in a document of Gould in the year 2014, strategies of teaching come in action if
sufficient resources are implemented in order to enhance various stages of learning and also help
in sharpening memory skills and knowledge of pupils.
Resources that have been gained from the literary sources of Armitage (1999) have been
utilized to include in teaching as well as learning practice for definite purpose and must not be
wasted by decorating classrooms.Since I am a school teacher from primary level, several
resources required to be used so that I can ensure that my pupils understand basic concepts of
mathematics and this would in turn increase their ability to take an active part in learning
session.
From the resources as suggested by Hadfield (2013), thereexist certain types of tool or
technique that can be utilized by teachers to put forward the vast field of development of
language in front of the learners. This would provide further rooms for learners to improve their
language skills apart from what has been taught by the teachers in written, spoken or it may be in
text formats. Resources stand out to be important instruments that provide a framework on the
entire process of learning and help the pupils individually. Resources help towards best reflective
practice so that it increases opportunity for pupils to undertake further chances for learning in
future.

Children who sit in my classroom have different learning needs since they belong to
various backgrounds, traditions and cultures hence I find my duty to select as well as arrange
several material resources for example PowerPoint slides, worksheets and handouts that would
be able to meet the learning requirements of my pupils. Involving such materials as well as
resources has been taken into account since the children would get chances to analyze their
learning potentials.
Hadfield (2008) has thrown an indication on various important course books, books on
numerical as well as other books that are mostly used by teachers to supplement activities related
to teaching and learning for scheme of work design. As declared by Jacobson (2010), great
learners play an important role in taking part in several classroom activities that contains
authentic as well as contextualized materials. These help in learning new mathematics concepts
therefore rendering individuals opportunities to learn mathematics with fun as well as taking
time in external environment of school. In thiscontext use of authentic as well as contextualized
resources are mainly referred for valuable teaching as well as learning practice.
Being a teacher of primary section, while teaching mathematics I provide teaching as
well as learning resources to my students so that they find it easy to learn mathematics concepts
especially for those who are not so good at this subject and weak in numerical ability. Whatever
resources and materials to be utilized should be accessible by all pupils studying in the school.
Training materials will leave an impact on cultural diversity as well as learning experiences of
my pupils.

Effectiveness in terms of material resources actually solely dependent on particular
choosing instruction that is intended to utilize by an instructor who takes important decision on
selection of various materials on teaching as well as learning experience. This is required to
address the needs of various learners inside the school premises that acts as fit and provide less
constraints during teaching as well as learning. Since I have Mathematics background therefore I
would like to teach Mathematics at primary level and I would like to use following resources in
order to meet learning requirements of my pupils:
Spreadsheets as well as Worksheets:
Various spreadsheets as well as worksheets are very important for teaching as well as learning
that are found in text format and increase the capability of learners so that they can increase their
memories. All these have been referred to as teaching as well as learning materials exclusively
designed by teachers with the motivation to pass new ideas among various learners. These type
of materials are generally used many number of times with respect to teaching as well as
studying environment.
Handouts
These types of teaching equipment are provided by instructor with a benefit in order to
highlight several points of lessons that enable the pupils to incorporate their personal point of
views as well as ideas there. Handouts are usually provided to learners so that they have the
opportunity to access continuous learning practice by themselves therefore improving
engagements towards learning as well as performances. During the time spreadsheets are used
during teaching as well as studying tools, it is necessary on part of the teachers to incorporate
pictures and make them look more illustrative instead of plain writing so that it influences

critical thinking of learners. Font sizes should be set as such that they look legible and can be
read by the learners. Teachers can also confirm that texts that can be read from those
spreadsheets by utilization of SMOG test since that was created through a famous person Harry

Worksheets
An important fact is that worksheet acts as an important teaching as well as learning tool
in order to help in bringing out improvement towards learning as well as involvement of learners
in several classroom activities during the process of learning journey. Spreadsheets usually
comprises of several questions that are identified to be quite helpful for learners so that they can
effectively take part in learning practice sessions. Worksheets cannot be changed at frequent
times and it may subject to changes if the learners require it.
Instructional Videos
These are important tools that are mostly turned to be resources effective in order to
convey various verbal instructions that include advantages of demonstrating subjects of learning.
Individuals who generally enjoy learning as a result of watching videos, TVs, as well as
YouTube take help of videos as a different way in order to keep themselves busy in learning
process by receiving guidelines from the tutor. Videos can be utilized as effective means to
transfer important information as well as guidelines to pupils by method of visual display that
would not have been possible to do so if those were to be done in class. Videos sometimes create
problem as it does not have the capability to judge and identify learners who have lesser
capability to grasp understanding of a particular subject very easily and also many of them do not
understand language in which instructions are being delivered.

Textbooks
Textbooks act as important teaching resources that provide guidelines to teachers so that
they select their teaching instructions quite selectively. These resources are reusable as well as
permanent that assist in visualizing learning experience of several learners. Textbooks usually
cannot be modified and also they do not undergo revision.
Regalia
These are original objects that prove to be tactile in nature and also aids memory of
learners and increase their level of comprehending subjects. Utilization of this resource for
teaching as well as learning is taken to be important as sometimes pupils are not interested or
fear to see live objects and do not want to come to their contact. Realia is mostly considered
difficult to be available and also it cannot be reused or recycled (Harmer, 2001).
ICT
ICT usually incorporates studying environment that allows establishing of learning
environment that would incorporate visual display (VLE) and this can be used by learners as
well as teachers to personalize individual activities. Various applications of new technologies
have found a greater impact on engaging learners and also motivating them to learn, improve
their numerical ability and experiences on language in relation to subject Mathematics. Skills on
digital numeric are very useful in order to succeed in modern life in the field of Mathematics.
Several technologies like iPads as well as apps are available in order to provide guidelines to the
teacher with various styles and approaches so that they can fulfill the learning demands of
individuals.
