1.1 Background of the Organization
The current project is based on the Veekesy Slippers Lanka Pvt which is a shoe
manufacture company based in the district of the Kerala, India. The spread of the covid-19 is
creating many issues and challenges for the Veekesy Slippers Lanka Pvt for effectively
undertaking and conducting its business operations. Thus, at that time going digital is the one
way to overcome and mitigate the challenge created by the sudden lockdown and strict social
distancing norms. Thus, current project is based on the issues and challenges faced by the
Veekesy Slippers Lanka Pvt while implicating digitalisation of its business operations that
consists of issue such as lack of training and skill development in employees.

Ummer Farook is registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). He is one of the
founders and members of board of directors of the company. He is an Indian entrepreneur with
successful businesses including Veekesy Slippers Lanka and Fortune Elastomes Private Limited.

leadership ambitions.
From my work experience I have learned that experience in specific field is not the only
element making a successful leader. It is essentials that leaders have mastered different people,
professional and practical skills to get the best results. I will give my maxim efforts to improve
my leadership skills so hat I can achieve my readership ambitions.
4.3 Identification of leadership requirements through diagnostic tools
The concept of the leadership tends to be related with the practice which are used by the
executives to develop a vision for the success of an organisation and also enables and guide the
employees to adapt and achieve that vision (Cooper and Romeo, 2022).
I have understood from the usage of leadership traits questionnaire ratings that I have to
improve on several areas in order to master my leadership capabilities. This helped me compare
my own perception of leadership skills an traits with perception of others so that I am able to
understand my weaknesses clearly. I have understood hat my primary weak areas are emotional

intelligence and articulate communication. In addition to this I also need to improve my
confidence.

This is a popular learning theory because it supports individuals learning in systematic
manner by following stages. The application of four stage process to support effective
leadership learning it provided below: Concrete learning: In this stage the learner starts a new experience. I aim to create a
detailed action plan for improving my skills. Reflective Observation: Here the learner reflects on new experience. Upon reflection I
have realized tat the usage of digital technology for recording my progress will enhance
implementation of action plan.
Abstract Conceptualization: This focuses n creation of new ideas to adapt their thinking.
I will be improving my thinking. I have understood that firstly I need to organize my
resource to ensure creation of a suitable plan.
Active Experimentation: This stage focuses on applying knowledge to real world. I am
