INTRODUCTION Visitor attraction is the place of interest where large number of tourist visit within alimited period of time. Tourist generally visit such places for its natural cultural values, historicalsignificance or built beauty. It is very much essential for the economy and visitor managementcompanies to implement effective strategies for managing attraction of visitors. Theorganisations chosen for this report is London and Partners which is the promotional agencyoperating its functions in different parts of London(Leask,2016). Major topics covered in thisreport are various classification and importance of visitor attraction, type for a range of differentvisitor attraction. Negative and positive impact of visitor attraction on tourism will also becovered in this report. Various visitor management strategies along with its implications forsustainable development will be discussed for achieving the goals and objectives in the bestpossible manner. TASK 1 P1 Different classifications of visitor attraction in relation to specific categories of visitorattraction.There are different kinds of places in every country which attract large number of visitorswithin limited period of time. Government of particular country also tries to make major changesso that tourist are attracted. Increase in tourism will not only benefit the organisation but alsolays a positive impact on overall development of economy. The major type of attractions whichare visited by tourist and visitors are mentioned below- Natural Category: These are those places which are build naturally and due to itsuniqueness visitors get attracted towards such places. These generally include- hills, mountains,lakes, climactic conditions, etc. The best example of such places is Eppling forest which islocated in London. It is a woodland forest which is covered in nineteen kilometres. Forest isfamous for its horse riding, mountain biking, etc(Page, 2011). Build Category: These are man made places which are generally made for attractinglarge number of visitors.
