INTRODUCTION
In every country, visitor attraction is important due to stimulating domestic tourism,
supporting the regeneration of areas and it also contribute to the local and national economy,
lastly it promote the cultural change as well. Therefore, in the same way, report main aim is to
describe the importance of visitor attraction points in travel and tourism industry and study will
describe different types of visitors attraction in various categories. Further, it also describe the
importance of different range of visitor attraction with the purpose and impact upon the growth
and report also explore visitor types, impact and their motivation of different visitor attraction.
Lastly, study will also assess the application of visitor management techniques and describe their
impact on the sustainability.
Activity 1
Different types of visitor attraction with specific categories
Visitor attraction is refer to those natural points, man-made construction which are
automatically attracted different tourist as well as local people too. Further, an attraction main
aim is to grab various type of visitor, so that they will come on holiday and enjoy at their best.
Therefore, there are various types of visitor attraction in London or at global level such that:
Natural Attraction: It Is the main source which grab attention of many tourist towards
them and it is created by nature. Many of them are made to protect their environment and
provide many facilities so that tourist who visit the place can enjoy the sites as well. Apart from
this, the natural attraction also provides the site for activity like, climbing, hill walking, mountain
biking and potholing (Oriade and Schofield, 2019). For example, Lake District which is also
known as Lakeland and it is famous for its lakes, forest and mountains.

Purpose Built: It is another attraction point which is built with the aim to attract wide
range of customers for that particular area. In these places, tourist also think that this points are
built with specific reason, so that people may have fun and enjoyed their holiday in this area. For
example, in UK there are so many places as leisure such as Alton Tower, which is an amusement
park in England and it also offer ten roller coaster rides and also offer different range of
accommodation as well as lodging options too.
