INTRODUCTION
Tourism plays an crucial role for development of economic system and country. In
present time, government make highest efforts for development of tourist department which
attract the visitors in a large scale. It is the main sectors which contribute in GDP of the country
(Yoo and Gretzel, 2016). It also provides employment opportunities to the people. London is the
most visited city which attract the visitors in a large number. Present report describes the Royal
Botanic Garden in KEW which is famous for its glasshouse, buildings, arts etc. It also explain
the scope and importance of visitor attraction and understand the impact, types or motivation
theories of tourist sector. Furthermore, it also describe the issues which affect the development
process in visitor attraction management. At last, it also explained the practical application of
administration method and their effect on property are also presented in the report.

1.1 Discuss the overlap of visitor attractions in relation to particular types of attraction
Various places and monuments built for another purpose have become tourist attractions.
These include attractions like York Minster, Windsor castle, Goon Hilly downs etc. This is
because these places overlap and have common characteristics with the tourist attractions. York
Minster is a Cathedral and metropolitical church of Saint Peter in York. It has a verifiable
Christian presence (Lamsfus and et.al., 2015). However, it has become a tourist attraction due to
the architecture of the building. The church is one of the largest of its kind in the Northern
Europe and is inspired by English Gothic architecture. Similarly, Windsor castle is a royal
residence at Windsor. This has become a tourist attraction due to its architecture and royal
collection of art. The Castle was a place of residence for the royal family but has now become a
visitor attraction. In this way, there is an overlap between visitor attraction and other types of
attractions.
Visitor attraction includes those places which attract the visitors to get together the
situation and civilization. It is essential for every country to maintain their history and all
heritage places which make positive support for the growth of the nation. It is totally based on
the location, economic, socials and culture condition of a particular destinations. Hence, it is
essential for the legal authority to frame those rules and regulations which provide facility and
convenience to the visitors while visiting the place (Xiang, Magnini and Fesenmaier, 2015). In

respect to this, their need to develop proper transportation, hotel facilities in London so that it
can influence maximum numbers of people towards them. Country must pay the attention to
maintain the quality and sustainability by which firms will get profit and increases their level of
performance. It is also essential for the nation to determine the desire and want of people and
provide facility so that they will be satisfied with the locations, accommodation etc.
1.2 Significant of different visitor attractions
There are various kinds of people who visits the p[lace as per their need and requirement.
Most of the people travel the destination to enjoy the leisure. Nowadays, people does not have
any time for relaxation. In respect to this, they make a plan for visiting the place in every year.
Mostly people like to visit different culture, environment, education, religion etc. Hence, these
factors make great contribution for the growth of a country. Importance of attractions are as
follows:
Attracting new business to Royal Botanic Garden: London is a place which provides
various business opportunities to the people. In respect to this, mostly people visit the London
for looking the business opportunities and invest their money by which it can help to develop the
economy of the country.
Employment opportunities: Royal Botanic Garden is a place which highly influence the
traveller in a large scale. In consists various art galleries, glasshouse and historical buildings
which provide employment chances to the local citizens. This process make great contribution
for the country's GDP and economic growth.
High Revenue: Royal Botanic Garden influenced the travellers highly because it contains
various arts and different culture. This is the main reason that not only international visitors bust
local people also come to visit their diversified culture. It make positive impact on the revenue
which increases over the years (Tigre Moura, Gnoth and Deans, 2015).
Enhancement of local culture and heritage: Government of UK make various efforts for
the development of heritage and historical places. It helps to attract the visitors by which they
will come frequently and visit the amazing places. It is important to those people who want to
collect the knowledge about English History. This helps to motivate them and by this way they

Some people like to travel some adventurous places so that they visit geographical

here and get depth information about the English culture and their customs. Eco-friendly
environmental place and natural beauty also attract the visitors. On the other hand, Demographic
factors which includes high income group people always visit the luxurious place for investment
of their money. They come in London for relaxation and outing. Royal garden is place which
provide all the facilities to higher class people. Hence, it can be said that various people have
their own choice and preferences which are different to each other and make positive and
negative impact on tourist sectors (Thakran and Verma, 2013).

Positive impact on economy: Touristy is the important plane figure that protection to the
economical growth of the any country. For any developing country tourism is the source of
earning foreign exchange. Tourism in London has not only contributed to earning foreign

has also help in advancement of culture , economy , technology etc.

wide , getting resources easily available at cheap rate. Growth in tourism helps in development
of transportation and infrastructural development. It also assist in exploring different culture,
traditions and global awareness. Tourism have direct impact on local business economies. It aid
in make working the working system as well well as other system of the country more
effectiveness and efficient.
Employment generation: Tourism sector deals in providing services like transportation ,
accommodation, hospitality etc. so need to hire the employees those who have skills and talent to
serve the customer so this create the employment opportunity for employment .Catering and
restaurant are considered as the major source of earning income in London (Ritchie, Chien and
Sharifpour, 2017).

the people residing in the country. It may give rise to illegal activities within the country and .It
may may affect the pricing strategy and other strategy of the country with may have effect on the

and environment. It persons for rising practical status of the manufacture and encourage cultural
values in order to build local pride and confidence.
