Introduction This essay elaborates about the two renowned personalities in the pages of art history. As per the requirement, this essay choses two eminent artist who has reflected time as well as place where they created it. A critical evaluation of what these two artists have achieved. Salvador Dali Dali was a Spanish famous professional in regards to painting, filmmaking, and printmaking. This artist has well exploration of subconscious imagination. During his time, he discovered the concept of modern paintings by the assistance of Ramon Pichot. Dali always used to experiment what he viewed in his dreams. The entire artwork of Dali revolved around the same concept “thinking of the unconscious mind.” Dali`s unique sense of thinking and he often believes that situations, which are happening around us are not exactly the truth. With this unique kind of sense, he could develop his own style (Dalí, & Finkelstein, 1998). Miro and Picasso induced his artwork. In 1920, his joint surrealist group which sought to channelize the unconsciousness so that it can unlock his strength of unconscious imagination andmind.Thissurrealistworksontocontrolthesoulinordertofindthecertain contradiction in their lives and finally shoot to imagination revolution (Factinate, 2019). He always contradicted the ancestral thinking that says the realism can be defined as the streets in the regular life. The surrealists had encouraged the Dali for his paranoiac method of finding the subconscious imagination in order to explore creativity that is more artistic. His style of painting was matured very quickly. During the 1929 to 1937, one of his illustration painting was “the persistence of memory” in 1931 that signifies and shows melting clocks in a landscape setting. In this painting his imagined and drawn image of soft and tender watch pocket, which was melting. This artwork was a greater influential interpretation of the artwork where the soft watches is the symbol of rejection hypothesis and time is too inflexible and staff. Some of the art scholars have believed that his “persistent of memory”
has symbolised Einstein theory of relativity where the scientist had proposed the new concept of time where the time is relative and multifaceted. The last artwork “the Swallow`s tail” and his work was influenced by theory of mathematical calamity of the Rene Thom. He was honoured in several art galleries and museums in 1982. He was titled as Queen Isabella (Ferro, 2018). Pablo Picasso Pablo Picasso is an Spanish printmaker, painter, stage designer, and playwright who had spent his adult life in France. He is well known as one of the most influential artists in the 20thcentury. He was known for his founding the cubist movement and he coined the constructed sculpture, invention of collages, and also the variety of styles which assist to develop and explore. He worked on bombing of Guernica in his dramatic portrayal by the enabling them with Italian and German air forces during Spanish civil war. He demonstrated that his extraordinary artistic talent was inherent. He paints in a naturalistic manner in his childhood and his teenage. In 20thcentury, his style changes because he experimented with different techniques, theories, and ideas (Favero, Mass, Delaney, Woll, Hull, Dooley, & Finnefrock, 2017). Further, he experimented to do an older work that motivated him and explored various radical styles. His style of artwork was criticised by the leaders of the modern art. The work of this artist changed in several accepted periods blue period, rose period, crystal period, and African-influenced period (Stella, Bracci, Iannaccone, Nasa, & Colombini, 2019). After 1910 and 1920, he was more in neoclassical style and has the characteristics of surrealism. His work later combines the elements of earlier styles. Picasso achieved immense fortune and universal renown for the revolutionary accomplishments for the artist. His art was the outcome of influence of archaic and tribal art, which motivated him his figures of art to be more structure, and sent him on the path of cubism. He has demonstrated the perspective of convention, which dominated painting since renaissance.
