Introduction Recruitment is the process of hiring the candidates for a specific job or position in the company. It includes the process of identification of candidates and then shortlisting them according to the requirement of an organization and after that interviewing to the shortlisted candidates for the jobs. The recruitment of a waiter and their job description is going to discussed in this presentation. To apply for a waiter job in a particular restaurant he must have the basic knowledge about the rules and regulations of that same restaurants. The major responsibilities of waiters is to take the orders and serve the foods and beverages to their customers. They had a very critical role in satisfying the customer and ensuring that they are happy with the served meals and if there is any problem faced by their customers it must be resolved immediately.
Specifications and qualifications required by a person for the role of Waiter/Waitress The foremost quality that is needed to work on big chain of restaurants is the look; a person should be good looking and attractive because exclusive cafeterias and restaurants have to maintain its standard and a brand image by having the best decor, provide the best service and food, and recruiting the best people. Education is not important to do work as a server in the cafes and resorts but if a person is working on premium hotels and restaurants he/she must have done a hotel management from a good college or university. Hotel management teaches a numerous skills like management, communication, hospitality, etc. that helps in better functioning of the hotel and resorts industry.
