INTRODUCTION
Howards Saul Becker is a sociologist and who made many of contribution in the field of
social science like sociology of deviance, sociology of art and sociology of music who was
generally wrote by Howards Becker. They wrote many of methodology books which help to say
about many of art which is going in past about what are the deviance. Moreover, Becker does not
claim any deviancy specialist. But his work and output on the subject is cited and communicated
by the sociologist and criminologist idea of deviance. In sociology, deviance is defined as a set
of action which violate the social norms, including a formal enacted rule, which consist of
informal violation of social norms and ethics. Moreover, the deviance may be a negative impact
of concern, the violation of social norms is not always a negative action sometime it may be
positive for many of them, society is major output in which the norms and regulated and braked
by them. Social norms are differing from the society and between the cultures. An act of
behaviour which may be deviant and receive the punished within the one society and the normal
behaviour in another society, so this is the normal which is physically and mentally created by
the different regions of people for their purpose. In this era, there is no any circumstance of
norms and moral following, everyone has their own norms with their goals, they set their moral
as per the life background and future objectives (Donati, P., 2016).
Deviance is a place from the relative work is committed or time by time the act of took
place. If murdering any another human is considered wrong. For example, there are expectation
arises when government permits to kill in warfare or in self-defence. While the deviance is
categories in two forms one is formal deviance and another one is informal deviance. The formal
deviance is defined as crime which violate the norms and ethics of society. And informal
deviance is minimum in violation that will break written rules of society. norms are the set of
assumptions, under informal deviance, a set of opposes towards the society. There are four type
of deviant’s behaviour which are given as:
Falsely accusing which is defined an individual to be obtaining obedient or deviant
behaviour (Woodman, D., 2016).
Pure deviance which is others perceive the individual as contributing in the social moral
which deviant the rule breaking behaviours.
Conforming which perceive the individual to be contribution in social moral and norms
that are distributed within the sociologist and place of society.
