For men, more than 5 drinks during 1 drinking session or more than 14 drinks in a week is considered risky. Whereas, for women four or more drinks in a day and more than seven drinks in a week is considered risky. Alcohol plays an important role in severe trauma wounds, motor vehicle accidents, suicides, and sexual assaults.
