Sir Winston Churchill: The Most Persuasive Speaker
A person whom I consider to be one of the most persuasive speaker is from the pages
of history, Sir Winston Churchill. Sir Winston Churchill during his initial days as the prime
minister of England delivered possibly the finest speech to a country on the verge of facing a
full scale attack in the form of “One Finest Hour” (Gilbert). Sir Winston Churchill was
rewarded with the Noble Prize in Literature for the speeches that he wrote himself. A famous
writer Andrew Roberts in "The Storm of War," clearly mentioned that the Churchill’s
speeches included excellent combination usage of the Anglo-Saxon words, short English
words and Shakespearean. Along with that, the powerful delivery of the prime minister was
one of the most important factor that made each and every of him substantially significant
even in the time of perilous Nazism.
