Introduction
Work and Employment Relationship refers to the set of different types of rules and
regulations which are required to be adopted by the Business Organizations so that
they are able to ensure that they can maintain the right relationships with the
employees in a proper manner. It is necessary for the HR department in the
organizations that it is able to understand the nature of this relationship which will
be quite helpful for it to make sure that the attainment of the short-term, medium-
term and long-term goals and objectives in the short-term, medium-term and long-
term can be done effectively and efficiently. This presentation is based on Tesco. It
is a British Company which focuses on ensuring that the different types of
products and services are provided to the customers in the market. In this
presentation, detailed and specific focus will be made on Evaluation of practical
and legal challenges will be made. Additionally, presentation of justifiable
recommendations for a set of employment relations issues will be made as a part
of this particular presentation.

Practical and legal challenges faced by
the organizations
There are different types of practical and legal challenges which are faced by the
organizations in maintaining employment relations. For an organization like Tesco
it is quite important that it faces these types of challenges and finds a solution for
them. The different types of practical and legal challenges which are faced by the
organizations are explained in the following manner-
Ageing of workforce- The increase in the age of workforce is a big challenge
which the organizations face while trying to maintain employment relations. It is
therefore required that the organizations are able to deal in a proper manner with
this issue.

works because it creates a lot of
problems and issues for the employees
within an organization.

must be provided to them which help them a lot in making a right use of their
skills and competencies in a better manner effectively and efficiently.
Retaining good employees- It is essential that the organizations are able to ensure
that they can retain the good employees which will be helpful for them to be able
to make sure that they are able to progress towards the attainment of their future
goals and objectives in the right manner.
Motivation to employees- Companies also faces a challenge in motivating the
employees to give their best and therefore this also impacts them and their overall
level of performance.
