INTRODUCTION
Work based experience refers with the real job scenario which supports students to gain
experience of real environment of industry and to perform in the live place. It is the area which
assists in personal and professional development of individual. It is the phase which can be
termed as non-stipendiary jobs in which students join any organization as an internship while
seeking higher education. In the modern corporate era most of the big firms recruit such
candidates those who are having good experience in the same field. Internship supports them to
gain additional skills and experience of employment so that in future persons can perform better
by using such knowledge. It develops competence among the candidates. Present report will
discuss the individual abilities to negotiate work experience (Burström and et.al, 2014).
Business constrains associated with cap industry will be illustrated in this assignment. In addition
to this report will illustrate my responsibilities being an administrative assistant and it will
produce a plan to meet objective through work experience.
TASK 1
1.1
Work experiment can be determined as taking chances for the opportunities that one get
over the work they perform. The consequence of this impact can be negative or positive. As per
the case, My career goal is to be the administration manger. I have five year experience in the
same field I have many option to work with other companies. ABC has the best opportunity for
me. I was working since nine years at the same post so having a long experience, I have targeted
to work in cab industry. I am much more interested to work in Addison Lee which is the London
based private taxi hiring company. I got the information from newspaper that there is a vacant
post and so I called up the organization and confirmed the vacancy. Then they asked me to mail
the resume and so used e-mail to sent by resume. I want to work as voluntary for two weeks in
the cited firm. While working in the previous company I noticed there organization is using the
previous technologies but there are number of new technologies which are now in use which are
giving optimistic outcome to the organizations. But this entity has given me good knowledge
about the management, operations etc. With this experience I can be more effective to achieve
my goal to be in the position of administration manager.

I have nine year experience working as administration assistant and currently I was
working as private hire driver, so I found that cap industry will be the best suitable for me and I
will be able to gain huge experience while working in the subsequent sector. Addison Lee is one
of the largest private company which offers cap facilities to customers. Currently cited firm is
operating more than 4000 vehicles and its annual revenue are approx £200m. In the April 2013
Addison Lee established the Redwing coaches business in UK. It works in several departments
and I was in the administrative section. Company was managing bits all department effectively,
all they were having good coordination between them. I always wanted to work with large
organization which has good experience so that I can gain much knowledge being associated
with this firm. There are many other competitors of the subsequent company but I have selected
Addison Lee, while working in the cited entity as voluntary, I gained much knowledge within 2
weeks about handling of customers and record management.
I have reviewed other business which are working in the same industry. But what
experience that I can get with working in the ABC ltd, that I can not get in any other
organization. After gathering all relevant informations I want to evaluate opportunities for me.
I have made direct coordination with supervisors which helped me to know about activities of
other department. As my role was to manage administrative work there, while working as
voluntary in the Addison Lee I searched for many other organizations in which are working in
cab industry but I found that Addison Lee is working well and its management of operations
process is quite impressive. As to explain the existing workplace environment, I can say that all
employees of the company are having good communication, drivers are having good knowledge
and experience they are very responsible towards their role and responsibilities. They monitor
their own performance, managers need not to supervise their work closely. Marketing and HR
department are working well, they are utilizing the resources of the entity effectively. This thing
supports firm in gaining huge profit and success. Nonetheless, HR managers are recruiting such
skilled persons in the organization so that qualified people can manage work in effective manner.

Negotiation is the great technique through which organization can enhance confidence of
individuals. Several negotiation methods are such as emails, portals, word mouth publicity etc.

limitation that affects to achieve the organizational goals. In order words, these are the barriers

hire driver, therefore, I am well aware with business constrains associated with the work
experience negotiated. Several constrains are such as lack of training, quality system, health and
safety considerations, supervision time, customer satisfaction, cost of material etc.
Business organization gives several training to the employees but these are insufficient.
Companies have to ensure that they give long term training too its workers. It is costly and time
consuming therefore entities refuse to give such type of training to its staff members. Training
is the major limitation in this respect, as to perform well and to reduce constrain, it is required to
be fully trained so that I can perform well and can deliver good services to the organization. By
minimizing the training gap I will be able to conduct my responsibilities in an impressive
manner. I need to know about quality system of the company, it is another constrain in the
absence of this, I will not be able to do well in the workplace. Measurement of the quality is the
complex process, it is not easy to measure the quality of the products. So most of the
organizations do not utilize skills of employees properly. Proper using of employees are
essential in the organization without it entities can not achieve its objective easily. As each entity
has its own standards so it is quit difficult to adhere to quality framework. If firm judge the
performance of mine on the bases on quality then it I need to contact with quality management
team so that they can guide me properly. Though I was look upon the safety measures but still it
is requisite for the same that I need to train other so that they can protect own self and others
while performing different jobs. Health and safety is the social responsibility of every one. But
organizations ignore this aspect and due to this they failed to get actual result what they want.
Cost of material are another constrain, as earlier I was having no knowledge about organizational

resources so I was selecting random resources. Due to lack of supervision I was unable to get to
know about effective resource and their utilization.

Prioritized of the tasks and responsibilities involved in my job in Addison Lee will be as
following. My job responsibilities are as discussed below: Meeting deadlines: It my first duty to complete the task on time. I need to ensure that all
executives finish their work on time. I segregate my responsibilities in such manner so
that I can meet with the deadlines in effective manner. I have to break my projects into

several section so that I can finish my work easily (Luger, Houston and Suls, 2014). I
always manage work in routine and non routine ways, it makes me able to handle
complex work easily. I guide others too for the same so that overall business performance
can get improved. Time management: My another responsibility is to manage multiple tasks. While
working in cited firm I have to mange many works and I have to complete it on time. To
perform my job duties effectively and to give optimistic results to the cited firm I divided
my work on the bases of my objective. I make time scale for each task so that I can finish
it timely and can start new activity soon. It supports me to bring quality and competency
in my work (Margolis and Roper, 2014).
Covering critical aspects of the projects:My responsibility is to closely monitor the
working process of critical projects so that complex projects can give good results. To
develop good understanding and professionals development of standards I have to deal
with critical projects in my job.. I divide my work accordingly so that I can give proper
time to critical projects.
Generate innovative ideas for performing activities: One of the critical thing is to develop new
ideas and ways through which performance of mine can be improved and I can mange my work
effectively (Nguyen, Boehmer and Mujtaba, 2012).
Task
For meeting deadline I have to divide my entire work in sections so that I can complete
those on time. To monitor the performance of critical projects I have to spend more time on
surfacing so that I can gather good knowledge about it and can perform it well. I have to set time
line for each task so that I can manage time well.
Priorities
I have to select most important task first then I go for the next one. After completing my
whole important work then I look for such task which is neither important nor urgent.
