INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is considered as an educational strategy for facilitating students with
several real life experiences so that it can able to use its current technical as well as academic and
also formed its employability. Moreover, this incorporates theories with activities as well as also
enhances understanding of tactical kinds of knowledge. For this report, Premier Inn is considered
as British Hotel chain as well as one of the largest brands of hotel along with 72, 000 rooms and
about 800 hotels. Also, this operates hotels into several of locations involving suburbs, city
centres and airports competing with Ibis hotels and Travelodge’s. Its headquarters is in
Dunstable, United Kingdom. The topics which are going to be discussed in this report are skill
audits, personal development plan, reflection upon progress into planning for and undertaking
work role. Moreover, skills as well as knowledge required for work role, evaluate learning as
well as progress with reflective logs and journals. Apart from this, short report for planning for
future career role is also described in this report.

essential skill towards sales executive job role in Premier Inn. Additionally, this personal skill
audit may utilised by me in order to conduct internal analysis with assistance of SWOT analysis
tool which would assists me to assess and clarify the areas in which development is vital for
sales executives job profile into respective hospitality industry firm.
