INTRODUCTION
Work Based learning is defined as learning where people have skills and learning which
means they improve their skills which can be done according to the work role assigned to them.
The work based learning is learning which can be adopted by different level of people which
include individual people, student, organisation and community as a whole (Caputo and et. al.,
2019).
They adopt the work based learning because there are various advantages included such as
improving skills for employment and for betterment for future growth. In organisation, they use
skills to develop skills of employees as they trained their employees in order to achieve business
goals. The management consider in this report it Park Grill restaurant. The chosen restaurant is
located in Central Road, United Kingdom. It was established in the year of 1942. In this hotel
there is front office manager who manage all activities and include skills audit and on the basis
of that there is PDP plan. There is a short note on planning and role of front office manager.
MAIN BODY
Determine skills audit with personal development plan
Skill audit means an audit where people find and analyse their skills and abilities which
help them to develop their weak skills and update their skills by using various resources (Ebbeck
and Waniganayake, 2017). With the reference to Part Grill restaurant, the aim of skill audit is to
identify various type of skill which are strong and weak. With the help of this they can easily
enhance their weak skills by learning and experience.

SWOT analysis: SWOT analysis is an analysis where front office manager have to analyse the
situation internally as they can identify what are the factors that affect while planning for project
of marketing campaign.
Strength: The main strength of planning the project of marketing campaign is that Park
grill restaurant can help in attracting customer so that they can consume food and tell them that
they are providing high quality food and beverages to customer. As this is done because they are
want to expand their business.

As I have analysed that there are different skills need for me for performing my skills as
my work role is front office manager where I my job is work placement in Park grill restaurant
where my duty is to assign and delegate the work to employees in hotel according to skills and

knowledge to perform a particular job in selected organisation. In context to hotel there are
various work such as solving problem of customer, customer experience and many others. So, to
effectively achieve objectives I have to adopt skills which help me to perform my work role. The
skills needed to me is communication, analytical, computer, interpersonal, management and
leadership skills. But my strong skills are time management, problem solving and interpersonal
skills whereas my weak skills are communication skills and management skills but I have to
improve my skills by taking various measure which means to improve my communication skills
I have to interact employees and understand what are the issues they are facing and give
them appropriate solution in order to perform my duty effectively. For this I can read book, take
online sessions and communicate to other in order to improve my skills. My another weakness is
management skills which can be improve my delegating work according to skills and decision
making is one the most important skills that help me to undertake my job role.
Short- term Goals along with 3 personal examples
As per to the above manner of setting of the goals that are to be an essential manner of
the task in respect to accomplish them as efficiently. Broadly, these are termed as called short
term goals. As their term are liable to be short to accomplish them just in a year or less. Such
targets will maximise the psychological state and competitor spirit and finally increase the
possible roles to accomplish short term targets.

Medium-term targets are such goals that are require to accomplish in the time period of
