This project delves into the development of a comprehensive Work Health and Safety (WHS) system for Australian Hardware, a prominent hardware and home improvement retailer operating across Australia. The project examines the organization's structure, activities, and existing WHS practices, identifying relevant legislation, model codes of practice, and potential hazards. It then outlines a complete WHS system, including policies, procedures, hazard identification and risk assessment templates, job descriptions with safety responsibilities, and a master register for policy management. The project also includes an evaluation plan for the WHS system's effectiveness, an overview of implementation costs, and a presentation plan for colleagues.
