Overview
The current project is based upon the company name PSP which is a charity type of
association who deal with disability and also provide range of services to thousand of people.
The main aim of conducting the project is to develop a database through which range of people
may get involved and quoted firm also provide range of services at immediate basis. So, by
using Gibbs reflective cycle as a reflection model, project will describe important task or
learning during the work placement. Further, the study also describe main key aspect of a work
and the skills that need to be developed in order to meet the define aim.
Main body
The rationale to present this is to describe the personal contribution in order to develop
the database helpline number for the needy people so that they can easily access it and get
proper treatment. Therefore, through this project, the team of PSP Association may easily
provide better treatment to their people at urgent or immediate basis (Wahlström, 2019).
The main aspect of the work is to create a new database for helpline which will easily
accessible by the people who want to use the helpline. By developing this, most of the disable
person can get immediate cure without wasting time. In the same way, I am a part of helpline
team and also collect range of information for PSP Association about hospitals, carers, nurses in
UK so that they will guide our team how to develop this.
While conducting this work placement, I realized that I learn communication skills
because I talk to many nurses, doctors with regards to our topic. So at that time, I analyze that I
enhance my communication skill and that is why, I am able to convey my thoughts to them. On
the other side, I also realize that working in a team is quite essential and good because it will
foster different ideas and also help us to present our views or opinions in front of other so that
they understand wrong and right. So, it is clearly analyzed that I will definitely work in the team
because as per the current situation, in order o develop new database system for disable person,
when my whole helpline team work in different hospitals and center to take review, I come to
realize that working in a team is more effective rather than individual work (Sonalkar and et.al.,
2020).
In addition to this, I also realize that I put my whole efforts in order to gather information
for PSP association about hospitals and at that time, I realize that I develop planning skills
because at that time, I come to realize how to make planning and prioritize each and every task.
