INTRODUCTION
Workforce plan is defined as a set of goals and processes through which team is able to
accomplish organisational goals and objectives in minimum time-period. Typically, work plans
are designed for organising and managing large project. With structured work plan an
organisation perform their work through project framework and background and it aids to
visualise timelines and goals of overall project. This report is written from perspective of
Capricorn Travel established in Australia. It is a medium organisation and this is well-known for
their travel services and it aids individuals to travel from one place to another (Boyer and Blazy,
2014). Moreover, this report highlights on workforce planning, goals, objectives and strategic
development perspective for performing organisational operations in an organised manner.
MAIN BODY
Background
Capricorn Travel establish their business from the last twenty years and it provide a
portfolio of project that relates with overall market of Australia and other geographical locations.
IPC and EPC contractor and it update scheme up which is related with 132KV. The main
purpose of of organisation is to arrange workforce for performing their work by offering market
that aids towards completion of task in different market. Along with this, Capricorn Travel is a
family based business and all decisions are managed by family decisions.
Workforce planning
Business or organisation including Capricorn Travel perform their work by employing
staff or individuals who are capable and skilled for performing organisation operation in an
effective manner. From perspective of respective business, management and HR department of
Capricorn Travel perform an important role to manage overall workforce. There is different task
performed by management and it is used for formulating flexible working environment through
offering working hours that aids to develop effective work-schedule and employee's hours (Buss
and Thompson, 2015). This technique is used by management for improving the nature of work-
environment. Along with this skill which generate problems for existing workforce planning
such as complex economic conditions create issue to manage salary of employee's. It generates
problem for organisation and this aids management for maximising profits of business.
