INTRODUCTION The report aims to provide understanding of the need for personal and professional development in a continuous process. Learning and development both are the ongoing as well as interconnected process which makes an individual skilful, capable and filled with knowledge to achievefuturecareergoals(TomblinMurphy,GilbertandRigby,2019).Thebusiness environment is highly complex and contain a lot of risk, issues and challenges which need high level of skills and talent to cope up with these issues. Business environment operate with uncertainties as well as opportunities. Therefore, to deal with these business environment, an individual require to analyse the issue by utilising appropriate skills. This report is going to present the business issue I.e. workforce planning which shows howthe organisation responds to it. Also, there will be a reflective writing which focus on how the learning has been impactful for the individual and a plan to enhance some relative skills. MAIN BODY TASK PART 1- Report Workforce planning A business environment is very complex and dynamic. It involve various practices and functions that require focus on each and every department mainly human resource. The main issue which organisations are facing is about workforce planning. This includes creating plans and strategies for the welfare of employees. They are the crucial resource for the company that regulate all the important task and activities with the aim to achieve organisational goals. The issue is about hiring best and capable employees which will results in the effectiveness in productivity of organisation. It is one of the biggest issue for HR manager to find the right talent for the right department. HR manager fails to make plans for hiring and recruiting employees and make them familiar with the organisation. Due to these issues, the company face a lot of trouble in rising employees turnover ratio. This impact on the reputation of the companies as employees are the crucial assets which contribute in the overall growth. It is vital to plan and develop effective recruitment that fulfil need of talent people to achieve the set targets. Therefore, the HR manager is required to develop appropriate strategies for conducting interviews, selecting right
individuals and make regular utilisation of their potential so that, this issue would not impact on the company. Due to a lot of compensation, there are many companies who are opening gates for fresh talent through giving benefits and good salaries (Pahlanie, Ghazali and Daryanto,2020). This involve attention of qualified individuals and contribute positively in the market. Therefore, it impacts on the overall performance of the company and they are not able to achieve heights of success. The issue of workforce planning is rapidly growing in the whole business environment. Businesses are adopting different ways and measure to manage talent and workforce within the company. The companies like Tesco, Unilever are the top supermarkets of UK which provide consumer goods and deals in all products ranges and varieties (Cascio, 2021). These organisation also facing workforce planning issues and the companies making plans and strategies in relation to overcome these challenges. The companies are reacting to address these issues by creative strategiesandtoattractnewtalentsthroughgivingeffectivejobdescription,person specifications and providing high salaries which will provide an insights to the job seekers. The company’s internal operations evaluate the coordination among all the department to analyse the need for the talent employees. This helps in creating workforce plans effectively and analyse the departmental needs to fulfil vacant positions and no work would remain left. These companies facing this issue due to highly changing environment in terms of market trends, technology, high demands and inter market intermediaries. This influence on the the demand of employees and economic crises also being a cause of this issue. (O’Malley and et.al., 2020). The organisation focus on giving best workplace environment which is the foremost demand of the individuals while looking for job opportunities therefore, the companies emphasizing on lowering does the cost of production and adopting easy way of working which does not Crete pressure on the workforce and task and activities tend to carry out in better manner. Recommendation The organisation need to first analyse the requirement of the individuals and plan the workforce accordantly. At initial level, the company ends to first look for the internal growth and development of employees through promotion and appraisal. In order to attract fresh talent, the company must enhance their recruitment strategy and conduct interview in better manner. The application form need to be specific that will eliminate unnecessary hiring and time in conducting interviews.

I have learnt that to manage group activities and carry out task effectively, management and Technical skills are must in current business environment. This make me curious about how all the software’s work in a simpler manner which I will be knowing by engaging in a lot of academic projects and research. As I wanted to be a HR manager in a reputed organisation which require leadership and a lot of skills that could effectively work in this competitive environment. To completing the project, I came across various skills and areas that will be helpful for me. for instance I have learnt write in professional manner and use of different software’s and tools which will help me to keep records and save my data. I was quite lack in technical and writing skills which could be a barrier for my future goals and objectives. This will help me in my future studies and preparing more projects to achieve higher grades. It has analysed that these academic skills are vital for an individual to develop sense of professionalism and gain knowledge which will be applicable in all the areas and sectors. I could achieve success in my career through implementing these academic skills like writing, communication , time management interpersonal relations and problem-solving. This will make me more prominent in working and provide better growth in the future competition. By learning the skills , I could work effectively on my academic level as well as personal development. As it is the most vital factor in order to achieve aims and objectives.
