I have found a job in Indeed where Lidl offered the post of a customer assistant profile.
The organization mentioned the need of developing the rate of business operations based on the
effective functioning of the different systems in accordance with the common goals of the
venture. The job advertisement detailed on the flexibility and dedication as the utmost required
qualities among the desired candidates. The section developed an assessment of the different
qualities and competencies that are being enumerated in the job advertisement of the
organization and the manner in which the same might be demonstrated.
Competency How it might be demonstrated
1. Flexibility of operations: The
candidate is required to work
independently and flexibly in
accordance with the different
changing work environments.
The flexibility of operations might be demonstrated
through the adaptability of the individual. The growing
adaptability of an individual would support in
improving the operations in accordance with the
changing workplace situations and the common
objectives of the venture.
2. Effective communication: The
effectiveness of communication is an
important requirement for the
individual applying for the job
position.
Efficient verbal communication of the individual based
on specific knowledge on tonality and speech is an
important aspect for the job as it involves huge
opportunity of client dealings and improvement of
relationship with the different stakeholders.
3.Prioritizing between tasks: The
prioritization between the tasks is an
important capability that is required to
be portrayed by the job applicant with
the purpose of meeting the deadlines
The prioritization is reflected through the complete
knowledge of the time that might be required for
completion of each activity and thereby effective
scheduling. Moreover, the prioritization between the
tasks might be ensured through knowledge on urgency
and the manner in which the tasks might be completed
in accordance with the common goals of the venture

The selection methods play an important role in the recruitment process as it assists in
developing an idea on the rightful candidate that might be hired for the respective posts. The pre-
planned development of the selection methods specifically plays an important role in maintaining
the effectiveness of the business operations in accordance with the change requirements of the

customers. In this relation, the candidate selection criterion for the job role will be based on three
online exercises. The online exercises would aim at identifying the merit, knowledge and the
aspect of prioritizing tasks. The assessment must be completed within a span of 20 minutes
which would help us in identifying the timeliness of the candidate and the ability of the same in
meeting tight deadlines.
The organization specifically emphasizes on flexibility of operations, timeliness,
prioritization of work and adaptability among the desired candidates for the job role. In this
relation, the selection procedure, consisting of three set of activities would support the
organization in identifying the skills and potency of the candidates in developing a better
understanding of the urgency between the tasks ad make shifts thereof. The exercises will be
specifically designed with the purpose of identifying the level of competency between the
applied candidates. According to Shin, Yuan and Zhou (2017), the selection procedure plays an
important role in determining the effectiveness of the staff recruitment procedure that is being
followed by an organization. In this connection, I believe that the online exercises would assist in
identifying the most deserving candidate for the job role through assessment of their flexibility of
operations and the manner in which the same perceives their job.
Moreover, the test on timeliness and adaptability skills would enable in identifying the
capability of the candidates in managing the operation in accordance with the pre-set deadlines.
The prioritization between the tasks would be specifically based on the interlinked and looping
activities which would support in identifying the capability of the candidates related to
scheduling activities. The activities will be embarked with a rating system which would
specifically aim towards identifying the most desired candidate from the applicants. A thorough
interview process would be initiated on a one- on – one basis among the recruitment board
