a) Three legislative requirements and codes of practice are as follows:
1) Corporations Act 2001- This is an Act of Australia that sets the prevalent was which deal

investment schemes. It serves as the main basis of Australian Corporation’s law and
maintains the formation as well as the operations of the companies in Australia.

the employees.
3) Model Code of Practice, Confined Spaces- This model Code of Practice provides practical
guidance on the way in which requirements can be met in the workplace as per the WHS Act
and Regulations. This code of practice is applicable to those persons who are conducting
businesses or are in charge of managing a workforce in a confined place.
4) Model Code of Practice, Hazardous tasks- This model code of practice explains the way in
which hazardous manual tasks can be identified in the work place and the risks can be
assessed and minimized.
b) A relevant industry association for our organization that is BGC Contracting Pty Limited is
Australian Constructors Association. Two of the environmental initiatives that have been
developed for our industry are as follows:

the impacts.

leaders of construction industry in the country of Australia. Fair Work Building and
Construction is the body which is responsible to ensure harmony, cooperativeness and
productiveness in the relations existing in the workplace.
d) The EPBC Act of 1999 is important as it provides a specific structure to protect the
Australian environment that includes the country’s biodiversity along with some of its natural
places.

water bill, the power consumption bill, waste generated that include the battery wastes and
the plastics.

d) The stakeholders in this case are the employees, the shareholders and the community as a

a) It is important to let the stakeholders aware of the sustainable policies so that in the later
stages a structured strategy can be developed as and when required. If the stakeholders are

b) A manager needs to have verbal as well non verbal communication skills, negotiation
skills, listening skills and problem solving skills in order to be able to communicate
effectively. In order to improve the communication skills managers are required to accept the
honest feedback from their subordinates, be available to them whenever assistance is
required, get to know the subordinated well and work efficiently at the time of crisis.

coming in the way and what else can be the possible way to carry on with the task.

I would delegate the tasks carefully among the employees according to their field of expertise
and interest. Some example of tracking tools and software system are:
OmniPlan- It is an effective Gantt chart software that enables its users to access the timeline
of any project.
Todoist- This is supported on every platform and provides a wide range of tools that are
helpful to anyone having a productive attitude.

a) Stakeholders are the ones who either care about the project or have some interest vested in
the same and in this case keeping them updated is important as a projects success depends on
the satisfaction rate of the stakeholders. The implementation of the environmental policies
and procedures will have certain consequences and if well informed previously might be that
if any hindrance is encountered then all will cooperate. Not involving the stakeholders may
lead to serious outcomes even failure of the whole project.
b) The success for which the policy is being implemented is the only measure to check
whether the new policy is apt for the place therefore investigating the success in the ongoing
process is essential.
c) The steps in evaluating the performance of a policy implementation are as follows:

h) In case a policy needs major modification I would search for some alternative policies that
could serve the same process and analyse properly on the benefits and the implementation
process, if found appropriate I would replace the old policy with the new one instead of
making so many modifications.
i) My approach in this case will be making the policies and the procedures available to the
work force in writing and specifying the tasks they need to do in order to be a part of the
project.
j) In order to address this situation I would make a strategy and follow it strictly in order to
achieve the set goals as per the policy.

revealed the paper used in the last few years, brand and cost of the same. She decided to

2018).
 Codes of practice: First Aid in the workplace 2015 is an example of compliance
requirement as per which all the workers within an organization can be able to access
of the first aid kit.

“BGC Contracting Pty Ltd.” To sustainability policy by aligning the continuous improvement
efforts with the strategy. As communication is considered to be important for sustainability
and continuous improvement and therefore improvement related efforts for proactively
creating communication plan should be conveyed for proper improvement of the leaders
(Bruthans, Mayer & Sulc, 2018). In addition to this, proper leadership commitment as well
as engagement should be developed by managing the change and for providing proper just-in

context to sustainability then the changes or improvement that will be done within the

It is found that while undertaking any types of changes or improvement plan, the
stakeholders will be consulted on the sustainability policies as sustainability has become
much more significant for the companies of all sizes and therefore it is quite important to
understand sustainability. It is quite important to align the interest of the high priority
stakeholders that have internal decision makers (Stefancova, Satanova & Harmanova, 2017).
