INTRODUCTION
The workplace transformation is defined as the recent and advance techniques that gives a
flexible way for the workers so as to do the given work effectively. It provides the creativity as
well as innovation in the organisation. Since the functioning has some fluctuations because of the
global pandemic. In the crisis of pandemic there is an increased utilization of technology
(Berman, Cano-Kollman and Mudambi, 2022). The current study shows that Lewsey Nursery
which is a reputative institute in educational sector based in Radnor Road, Luton, England. There
is an analysis on the way transformation is done among the companies because of the effect of
global pandemic. However, there are some different effective strategies for overcoming form the
effects of Covid-19.
TASK 1
P1. Project aims as well as objectives
Project Aim – “To analyse the directions of transformation occurring among all the companies.”
A case study based on Lewsey Nursery.
Research Objectives
To interpret the study of workplace transformation as well as the effect of the crisis on
the transformation techniques in the organisation.
To analyse the issues and problems faced by Lewsey Nursery in the transformation in the
organisation (Church and Naugler, 2022).
To make different effective strategies so as to mitigate the negative effect of the crisis on
Lewsey Nursery in an effective manner.
Rational for study –
The current study of understanding the effect of Covid-19 in the organisational transformation
explained by the researcher is about analysing the way an organisation’s work environment is to
be transformed for handling the effect of the pandemic crisis. However, the researcher has also
developed efficient strategies to handle the effect of pandemic crisis. In the relative context, this
study is showcased in the form of knowledge and skills like communication, data analysis,
presentation and some more. In this report the researcher has a knowledge to simply develop and
make strong the career for the future time (Dalcher, 2022).

The study of organisational transformation and the effect of crisis on the transformational
work at the workplace.
As per the author, Dery, Sebastian and Van der Meulen, 2017, the organisation’s
transformation is about using update and advance strategies which will make whole task methods
in a simpler way. The organisational transformation is mainly about the rise in flexibility in the
company where the workers can simply work in their roles in a right way. Additionally, the
Covid-19 has boosted the number of remotely working people. Then most of the workers are
resulting to be interested in their jobs to work from their convenient environment. Since the
global crisis had led to the impact on transformational work in the company (Fang and Yuan,
2022).
Issues and problems faced by Lewsey Nursery in the work of transformation in the
organisation
As per the author George and Bajbair 2021, the study of transformation in the known
working area is not that simple. The organisations have to face some problems in providing the
transformation internally in the workplace. The prevention from workers is another issue faced
by Lewsey Nursery in the period of transformation. Another issue for the productivity of the
workers is impacted because of the transformational work as the employees are not used to for
the activities to be performed at workplace. Therefore, the challenges have simply impacted the
growth and achievement of the organisation (Haller, 2022).
Effective strategies so as to mitigate the negative effect of the crisis at Lewsey Nursery in an
effective manner
As per the author named, Annapurna and Murty, 2019, it is to be evaluated that the
organisational transformation has led to many challenges for the organisation. So, taking in
concern some measures there is a possibility in fall of effectiveness of Covid-19 in the
organisational workplace. So, the training is much necessary strategy which has to be acquired
by the organisation to rise in the potential of the workers. Additionally, they can acquire the
economical and non-monetary inspirational strategies to motivate the workforce in their tasks for
the transformation of environment. So, they acquire such strategies for which Lewsey Nursery is
able to handle the crisis of pandemic in an effective manner (Kiran, 2022).

Project Life Cycle refers to the Project life in the industry or market with the
measurement of commercial sales and cost. Every project has limited a life cycle. In other words,
project life cycle define as the time period of the project which is process of being introduced
first in the market and to remove from the market (Project Lifecycle, 2022). Lewsey nursery
work transformation project can be effectively develop by performing activities and function
through Project life cycle-

INITIATING: This is the first step of project life cycle where research journey begins, In this
step projects are tested, and the launch strategies were created before going to the market which
helps the company to know the target market reaction and also know the future growth of the
project. Lewsey Nursery will adopt strategy of project life cycle which will help in work
transformation to know the future growth of the project. In this, the nursery is initiating the plan
to bring transformation at the workplace after analysing the challenges which it is facing in
managing its operations. This has urge it to initiate such project which can help it to bring
transformation at the workplace.
PLANNING: This is referred to as the plan which helps to guide that what step will be
considered for reaching the success. In this step, workplace transformation project of Lewsey
Nursery are considered by the marketer and ready to run the project in the market by planning

which helps to determine that what next step should be chosen for the Lewsey Nursery project.
The planning will be done by the nursery by way of identifying the opportunities in the market
which can be used by it and with the help of which transformation can be brought by it.
EXECUTING: It is a process of executing the plan and analysis the performance in the market.
In this stage, the project of workplace transformation's planning is measured or executed for the
applications like gathering the information, identify key resources, develop smart goals, create
the framework, assign the task, regular communication, track the progress, evaluate the
performance of the project and helps to know about its future growth so that Lewsey Nursery can
successfully execute the project and achieve its aim.
CONTROLLING: In this step, the above strategies are measured that they are in control or not.
Controlling refers to the function which helps to measure the project and develop the strategies
to make them successful for the goal. Control of the workplace transformation helps to analyse
the errors in the project and measuring the quality standard of the project. This stage helps the
Lewsey nursery in its workplace transformation project by analysing the performance of the
project and managing the development of the project by making use of various tools such as
benchmarking.
CLOSING: This is the last step of project life cycle where all stages are successfully done
through by the PLC. Project planning for the project of workplace transformation is considered
as the strength and growth of the research. Closing is the term of result which are done on the
basis of life cycle of the project. And production of project analysis that it will be success in the
market or not. This project life cycle helps Lewsey nursery to ensure that the work
transformation they want to produce will perform well and can run in the market or not. The
Future report of the project of Workplace transformation will be effective if project life cycle
were successfully applied on it.
P2 Project management plan
It is to be explained that the formal document which contains of the necessary tasks and
information needed so as to research about it. The project management plan includes some
different factors that are explained below in the relevance to the current study –
Scope – It is evaluated about the current study which has a broad scope in the
organisational environment’s transformation so as to make the organisation do their tasks
