INTRODUCTION
Employee is an individual who work in any organisation and provide its services in order
to get payment for their efforts. Employees are most important resources of an organisation that
help it to achieve all goals and objectives in effective as well as in efficient manner. it is second
part of report that is about understanding why people work. Effective as well as skilled
employees are able to achieve all goals and objectives with in time. IOM Electronics Limited is
the chosen organisation in this report. In this report various factors are determined that motivates
employees to work and all positive as well as negative factors are covered which affect overall
experience of employees to perform all task on specific job role.
TASK
Factors which motivate employees to work
Motivation is very important factor that influence employees to work in direction of
fulfilling goals and objectives. There are various factors that inspire as well as motivates
employees to work effectively and efficiently. These factors affect employee motivation as well
as their engagement with organisation. Employee motivation enhance the level of enthusiasm on
work place on the other hand employee engagement is determine as the employee emotional
commitment that they will help the organization to attain organisational goals and objectives in
efficient manner. IOM Electronics Limited enhances the factors that motivates potential
employees to work in the direction achieving defined objectives (Di Stefano, Piacentino, and
Ruvolo, 2017). It provides training and development programs and various career opportunities
that motivates employees to engage with organisation effectively. There are some factors are
discussed below that motivates employees to work are following:
Rewards and recognition: In the organisation various factors that influence and
motivates them to work in the organisation in order to achieve defined goals and objectives in
efficient manner. Rewards and recognition are the factors that come hand in hand. Effective and
proper reward and recognition motivates employees to work more effectively and efficiently.
These are given in monetary as well as in non-monetary term such as incentives, increment in
salary, promotion and appraisals encourage as well as motivates employees to work efficiency
and promote their positive behaviour. IOM Electronics Limited provides various rewards and
