Executive Summary
The aim of the assessment is to understand and analyze the activities
related to Worthington health care system. The report will evaluate the
organizational goals that are associated with the Worthington health care
system. In addition to this the report will also highlight the major
stakeholders that are associated with WHCS. It is important to evaluate
the case study so that it becomes easy to understand the issues faced by
the organization and their current system. Apart from this, the report will
also discuss the plan view was implemented for the purpose of
understanding the Worthington.

1. Introduction
The report aims at describing the Worthington healthcare system. Worthington
healthcare system was established for the purpose of providing better support towards
the patients. However with the increase in number of patients it has been observed that
the system failed to provide proper services. In this report the main concern is to
understand and evaluate the situation of Washington healthcare system. The report will
identify the main business plan that is associated with the organization. Secondly the
report aims at identifying the key stakeholders and their needs. Apart from this it is
important to identify the issues that are faced by the organization. Lastly the report will
focus on understanding the suitability of Plan view software and will recommend
another tool for better enhancement of the services.
2. Main business goals of WHCS
The Worthington healthcare system was established within the hospital for the purpose
of providing better service towards the patients. The information system was the
designed for the purpose of managing the data within the hospital. Worthington
healthcare system has managed around 3500 beds within the hospital for the purpose of
providing better facilities to words the patients. This system has employed around 4800
physician and 21,000 staffs. It was observed that with the implementation of the health
care system several other issues started arising. Due to lack of proper support towards
the business functionalities it has been observed that the organization faces several
issues. There is a need to introduce new software that will be capable of organizing all
the components related to Worthington. The information system that was established
within the Worthington healthcare was not capable of managing the projects that were
carried out within the organization. In Addition to these the information system also
failed to manage the patient efficiently. The goals associated with WHCS are listed
below:
The organization decided to implement a new system that will be able to resolve
the issues that are faced by the organization at present.
The new system will be able to manage the resources
The new system will be capable of processing the requests
Time management can be done effectively with the use of the new system

Stakeholders are considered to be essential component of every organization. With the
help of stakeholders it becomes easy to organize the different activities within an
organization. Thus it is important to ensure that every stakeholder is managed properly.

4. Worthington’s state/issues of IT services
The information system of Worthington healthcare system has faced several challenges.
The information system failed to manage the data within the organization. Thus in order
to ensure that all the requirements are fulfilled successfully there is a need to analyze
the problem. The main issue that has been faced with the current information system is
that it is unable to deliver the desired results. This is leading to major failure at several
places of the organization. Thus in order to enhance the business performance the
organization has decided to implement a new healthcare information system. In addition
