Response to question 1.
The CEO, Brent Talver discovered that he needs to hire new employees to work in
various departments. The probable staffing options for replenishment of human resources
available to him are:
1. Part or full time hiring- The main advantage of this type of hiring employees is that they
will help the business in the long run by replenishing the human resources in large number
and help the company in growing.
2. Internal development of employees- Internal training of employees may help them to
emerge as sales representatives or work out as software engineers.
3. Outsourcing- The important advantage here is that the employees can be hired on a
contract basis for a certain period of time when their services are required by the company
(Dinu 2015). As the company already have received complaints, that the current employees
are not properly receiving the company benefits in a timely fashion, outsourcing can help to
satisfy the current employees with proper benefits as Zebra need not to be concerned of the
outsourced employees as there exists independent contractors for their benefits.

Skills needed for Sales representatives:
A. Proficient communication skills.
B. Good demonstration skills.
C. Can prevent objections of buyers.
D. Have punctuality.
E. Possess good listening skills (Hohenschwert and Geiger 2015).
Skills needed for software engineers:
A. Expert knowledge in computer hardware, programming languages and software.
