INTRODUCTION
Academic journey can be characterised as the illustration and detailing of the experience
extracted by an individual in his/ her respective educational setting. It demonstrate the
recognition, achievements and milestones acquired by an individuals through the course of
learning (Menz, 2020). The proposed academic report highlights upon the diverse topics covered
during the course of the module. It reflects upon the the learning journey of the module and
experience drawn from the same. The report incorporates the utilisation of Gibbs model in the
end in order to assess the individual's perspective in context to understanding of the concerned
module.
MAIN BODY
1. Time management
Time management is considered to be an essential aspect while working on a specific module. A
module consists of various timelines which needs to be taken into consideration by the
individuals in order to accomplish the assigned targets of the module before the deadlines and
submit the work on time (Cotronei-Baird,2020). The respective module was very complex and
critical in nature, in order to complete the work in an appropriate manner it became necessary for
me to manage my time in a productive manner. I relied upon the formation of a very systemic
time table so as to delegate every task with a time frame and achieve the task within within the
same. The respective practice assisted in completion of this module in a very advance and
deliberate manner. It also helped me to invest my time productively and ensure that I provide
necessary time and attention to each assignment so as to provide my best potential in the
execution of the same. In realised that in order to lead a good learning journey, it is very
important for the learners to follow the right set of time patterns so as to achieve higher
efficiency in the respective work. Time management enabled me to enhance the quality of work
in the my given tasks which in turn led to the up gradation of overall standard quality work
delivered by me during the phase of this module. Earlier, I used to really procrastinate my work
which used to ultimately result in delay of work or reduced quality of work . With the
implementation of a time schedule, I was able to reduce procrastination and feel more motivates
to complete my work on time. When tout work gets delayed and you feel that you will not able to
achieve the targets set in the module on the respective time, an individual to tend to feel anxious

development. It can be said that the respective module gave me an opportunity to incorporate an
organised format of study and time management in my work life. This helped to get more
organised and sincere towards my work as well.
2.Academic Writing
Academic writing can considered to be a form of content writing wherein the information is
based upon fundamental concepts and evidence. In this respective module, I learned various tips
and tracks pertaining to academic writing in order enhance the authenticity and reliability of the
same (McGunagle and Zizka,2020). It also focuses upon the formal way of expressing my
understanding about a literature. Academic writing helped me to enhance my analytical ability as
it required me examine and assess various literature and concepts in an accurate manner. My
concentration and focus level also began to expand when I started investing my efforts in
academic writing. I learned about vaporous new theories and models which can facilitate
necessary assistance to me in my future modules as well. While working upon the elements of
academic writing, I realised that writing content possess a huge influence on the mindset of the
readers. Hence, it becomes very necessary for the individuals writing the content to exercising
critical thinking in order to lead the academic writing in an appropriate direction wherein the aim
and objective behind the same are clearly defined in an effective manner. My creative abilities
also accelerated while working upon the variables of academic writing.My ability to introspect
into various creative dimensions was increase which helped to write quality content. It can be
said that the incorporation of academic writing in the module was one of the best opportunities
for me to try my hand on academic content. I am really satisfied with the fact that I gave my best
in creation of content that is highly ethical and authentic in nature.
3.Public speaking and giving presentations
Public speaking can be characterised as an activity wherein an individuals is entitles to express
his viewpoints in from of a large number of audience. The major objective behind public
speaking is to deliver an important message through the personal expression of an individuals
time table helped me to minimise the stress levels and feel more confident while executing the
respective module. When I managed my time in a proper way, I got ample ample amount of free

during this module. In the initial phase of the activity, I was quite hesitated and nervous to come
on the platform and express myself in the presence of my peers and professors. However, I
maintained my calm and gained confidence by practising public speaking in front of the mirror
or my close friends. The respective activity gave me confidence to provide my best towards
delivering a informative speech. My enthusiasm increased through public speaking and I became
more flexible to open communication as well.
Presentation as also an integral part of the module and the students were entitle to deliver group
presentation on the topics allotted to us by our respective professors. The presentation activity
gave me the opportunity collaborate with new minds and facilitate cordial interaction within the
same. My team was cooperative and with the optimisation of mutual efforts and coordination we
were able to deliver an excellent presentation. During the preparation of the presentation, I
realised that working among a group of individuals required me to be more considerate towards
the thoughts of my team members. My listening skills also improved during the course of the
presentation activity as I gave enhanced focus upon hearing the ideas and perception of
individuals which in turn enhanced my acceptability as well.

Online learning can be termed as the facilitation of learning activities through the utilisation of
online platform (Kornelakis and Petrakaki, 2020). During this module, I was exposed to the field
of online learning wherein I had to take online classes on a regular basis. Assignments and
weekly quizzes were also held online in order to enhance the capability and conform of the
students towards online learning. I believe that my experience with online learning was very
enriching and exhilarating. I feel that online learning provide a very vast platform to the student
top invest their energies and focus toward acquiring knowledge about interesting fundamental
frameworks, concepts or learning anew skill as well. With the capitalisation of online learning, I
could take my classes anywhere at any time. I was not restricted to the classroom teaching any
more. Online learning is more affordable in comparison to the physical learning as the
expenditure relating to travelling and expenses is reduced to minimum in this particular
case( Ayala Calvo and Manzano García, 2020). I feel that I was more assertive in on liner
classes as various fun activities were involved within the same. My attendance chart also
alleviated in online classes as it is much easier to take the classes at home. Every individual has

myself in online learning help me to enhance dependability to my own understanding through
which I was able to alleviate my experience to maximum extent. It also provided assistance to
me in encouraging my virtual presence and interaction. This can help me to lead better virtual
communication in the future run as well. My technical capabilities and skills were also
encourages through online learning as I got the opportunity to learn about new educational
portals through which learning can be made easier and flexible for the students. From my
experience of E- learning, I can say that in order to acquire effective learning ability through the
optimisation of online learning, it is necessary for the individuals to have high degree of self
motivation. The absence of willingness and self motivation in a student will ought to lead
adverse implication on its process of learning which in turn can result in negative learning
outcomes (Hernaus and Černe, 2021).

Gibbs Model can be termed as a reflective model propounded by Graham Gibbs. The
model highlights upon the depiction of experience of an individual in particular context of
event(Bond, 2020). The main aim of the respective model is to facilitate assistance to
individuals in demonstrating their perspective to the other individuals. In order to provide more
