Report
AI Summary
This report provides a detailed analysis of an advanced information system design project. It begins with a discussion of project modifications, particularly the incorporation of a risk register within an agile scrum framework to manage potential issues. The report then explores the importance of a detailed project plan, including stakeholder assessment, budget allocation, and scheduling. The work breakdown structure is categorized into initiation, planning, execution, and testing phases, with the execution and testing phases running concurrently under the agile methodology. The report also highlights the use of JIRA software for managing project progress and communication. Finally, it discusses the project schedule, including the critical path, lead times, and the tracking of scheduled releases. References to relevant academic sources are included to support the analysis.

ADVANCED INFO SYSTEM DESIGN
Answer 1
The major modification that I have made into the project plan is to incorporate the risk
register for identification, evaluation and elimination of the risks associated with the project.
Since the project is following an agile scrum approach, the project is expected to face other
modifications as well during the implementation phase (Abrahamsson et al., 2017). This includes
modification in the project scope and schedule according to the requirement of the release.
Answer 2
A detailed project plan is made at the project intuition phase, as it is vital for any project
to have a proper project plan for its successful implementation. The critical elements that are
included in the project plan are the assessment of the involved stakeholders, detailed calculation
of the budget and resource available along with a feasible project schedule.
Answer 3
The work breakdown structure of the project can be broadly classified into project
initiation, planning, Execution and testing phase (Kerzner, 2013). The execution phase of the
project is subdivided into number of sub phases according to the scheduled project release. The
execution and the testing phase are simultaneously implemented as the project is following an
agile scrum methodology.
Answer 4
JIRA software can be used to plan and communicate the work breakdown structure and
the project progress to the stakeholders associated with the project. This software helps in
planning, tracking and managing the software development projects.

Answer 5
The schedule will indicate the critical path of the project. It also reflects the lead and lag
associated with the project schedule. This helps in estimating and tracking the scheduled releases
of the project.
