CLINICAL AREA OF INTEREST
Aged care is a living and nursing services for the old people in Australia, it involves
providing a service to such old people who can no longer independently live of their own but
need help to stay in their homes (Aged Care, 2019). These service includes home care services
and residential aged care. This clinical are has been chosen because to help the old people who
can not live of their own and also to help those family members who can not stay back at home
in order to support their old parents. It is also a noble job in order to help those people who can
not help themselves.
CONCEPTUAL REFLECTIVE FRAMEWORK
A conceptual reflective framework identified is Gibbs Reflective Model as this model is
clear and precise which allows an individual proper description, analysis and evaluation of its
nursing experience and can then easily examine its practice (Dibarret, 2017). It can be used at the
different levels on reflecting on a specific incidents and actions, thoughts and feelings which are
associated at the moment. It also helps nurses to create understanding general time period by
breaking down and analysing and critiquing on the events. Gibbs model is the best way to reflect
on the experiences or actions or events.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Learning objectives for the purpose of aged care service are as follows:
To develop interpersonal skills
To become a expert in handling old people.
To provide a excellent patient centred care for the aged people and to provide excellent
care for such people.
To increase nursing skills in order to provide effective service to aged people.
To develop learning skills and use of tools and technologies to provide physical support
to aged people.
RESOURCES
For completing the current project there will be requirement of expert technical and
clinical staff so that they are assisting me to continue my nursing career in aged care only. All of
them will help me to successfully start and complete the task with having carried forward in
clinical project (Jacobson and Hooke, 2016). So it is very much required to have expert in

particular field who are helping and assisting me throughout the clinical project so that I will be
able to provide proper personal service to aged people.
While on other hand I will also require certain literary resource like that of modules and
books which are helpful for me to guide throughout my completion of nursing care. So I could
also be able to confirm and consult with my tutor or supervisor who is helping me to achieve my
goals.
PROPOSED METHOD
I will be learning using all materials and books available so that they are helping me in
completing my clinical project of nursing as my future career (Shulman, Myerson and Prieto,
2015). For completing this project it will be taking my time and money with having expert
advice for future development.
PROPOSED TIMEFRAME
For completing this project I will be requiring about 8 weeks so that I could be able to
successfully achieving goal for pursuing clinical career.
