Introduction
According to Mir and Pinnington (2014), project management is referred as the discipline of
initiating along with proper planning, execution of the planning, take control of the planning and
then closing the work for a particular team in order to achieve the goals and the objectives of the
team and to meet the defined specific criteria. The challenged regarding the project management
is to achieve all the project related goals within the provided constraints. These kinds of
constraints are mainly described in the project manual that is maintained by the project manager
(Heagney, 2016). The organization that has been chosen for this particular study is the Allied
Worldwide. The study mainly focuses on the different aspects of their CSR activities. In addition
to that, the study also puts focus on the fact that how this activity helps the organization to
maintain the sustainable objectives of the organization. Along with that, the study also provides a
project management plan through which the entire project would become a success.
Task 1
P1. Aims and objectives of the project
The main aim of the project is to deliver the different CSR activities to the society and provides
the society with an ample amount of benefits to them. This mainly enhances the ability of the
organization, Allied Worldwide to sustain within organizations in order to meet sustainable
objectives. Along with that, it also enhances the performance of the organization that can make
the organization able regarding the growth in the competitive market.
The project has a certain amount of objectives. These are

P2. Project management plan
Leach (2014) said that the project management plan mainly consists the different activities such
as the defining the scope of the project along with the cost factors of the project. In addition to
that, the plan for the project also deals with a proper period that is required for the completion of
the project. Moreover, the project plan also describes the required quality for the project along
with the required communication and a number of resources.
Scope of the project
The scope of the project mainly considered as the part of the project that involves the
determination of the proper goals of the particular project included with the different deliverables
and the functions. The entire project mainly includes the educational campaign for the children
of the rural areas. It is quite a good initiative for the organization as they are trying to implement
the education all around the area. Moreover, the activity that is taken into account by the
organization also ensures the environmental sustainability. That mainly signifies the fact that the
project needs to meet with those aspects that should not hamper the overall environment. In
addition to that, the entire project mainly aims to meet with the development of the entire
society. Therefore, it can be said that these are the certain aspects that can be considered as the
scope of the project.
Along with that, the project also consists of the included scope statement and the excluded scope
statement. Through the included scope statement, it has been seen that the project mainly
provides the enhancement in the educational level of the children in the rural areas. This
increases the sense of understanding the outer world scenarios and makes them aware of the
different problematic situations. It also enhances the morality in between the children and it is an
important factor that the project needs to take into consideration. Throughout the entire CSR
activity, the children are enriched with the proper moral values and the attitudes that can create a
positive impact on their nature. By engaging in this project, the children could learn that they
need to respect their elders. This kind of practices will also develop the society in terms of moral
values and attitudes. In addition to that, the amount of donation that would be gathered from the
CSR activity can be used for the enrichment of the society. However, as a small scale
organization it is not possible for Allied Worldwide to cover all the areas. The project is not able

to cover a large area. As an SME, it is not possible for them to reach out a large number of
people. In addition to that, the generated donation amount would not be enough for the large
societal developments. Along with that, as the project is mainly based on the small scale
organizations, therefore they are unable to include other big organizations into their activity.
Cost of the project
The cost of the project mainly depends on the different aspects of the entire project (Schwalbe,
2015). The project manager needs to analyse the cost of the different particulars and based on
that cost analysis, the budget for the project needs to be created. The budget for the project
mainly defines the fact that, to what extent the organization Allied Worldwide can make the
entire project a successful one. The costs of the different particulars are defined below.

Quality required for the project
The entire project needs to have a certain amount of qualities that can be used in order to
enhance the productivity of the project. First, the organizations, Allied Worldwide needs to select
few people who are knowledgeable and can provide proper education to the children of the rural
areas. Those people need to make the children understand the importance of the study. Along
with that, the CSR event needs to be well organized. So that, any kind of unwanted situation
should be avoided during this particular project. In addition to that, the organization need to
create a proper awareness in between the people who are receiving the service and provide them
with a proper set of importance regarding the launch of the CSR activity (Burke, 2013).
Moreover, the sufficient amount of funding is also required for the successful completion of the
project. Funding is considered as the most important for the completion of the project. Based on
the proper amount of money, the project can spread through a wider range in order to take more
children under this CSR activity.

Communications required
The communication process of the entire project needs to be strong enough so that the project
creates a clear image of its aim and objectives in the mind of every stakeholder. According to
Kerzner (2013), the proper communication process can enhance the productivity of the project.
Along with that, the communication process enhances the team effort that is a very crucial factor
for the completion of the project. Along with that, the stakeholders such as the investors along
with the organization's management also have a proper way to discuss the project's success
chance. Moreover, the effective communication in between the organization and the investors
would encourage the investors to take part in the project with an ample amount of enthusiasm.
This enthusiastic nature mainly helps the project to gather a proper success. Moreover, the
enhanced level of communication in between the project management team enhances the work
efficiency regarding the project and this can be helpful for the organization in order to make the
entire project a success.
Resources required
The resources those are required for the successful completion of the project is the financial
resources along with the human resources and the different physical resources (Turner, 2014 ).
The financial resources mainly come from the investors of the project. The investors of the
project need to go through the scope of the project and the success criteria of the project. Based
on those statements, the investors should invest the capital into the project. Along with that, the
most important resources are the human resource. Human resource is mainly referred to the
human capital. The people need to be engaged with this project in order to make the project a
successful one. The engagement needs to be in a positive way and the people needs to work with
having the positive mindset in their mind. Moreover, the different physical resources are also an
important factor for this particular project. The organization, Allied Worldwide needs to select a
place where they should conduct the entire event.

The work breakdown structure is the processes and the activities within the project, which are to
follow accordingly. This is the deliverables of the project, which does organize the work of team
within the manageable sections. The management of the project also define as the work
breakdown structure, these should be maintained with the decomposition of hierarchies of the
work, and this has to execute by the team involved within the project. The work breakdown
structure of the project does involve the initiation of the project, procurement and the
implementation of the project for the organization. The initiation of the project does involve the
planning of proper project followed by the approval of the project after the analysis of the
required cost to implement the CSR within the business organization. The organization head to
do the approval of the project and the process of project execution are to start by the manager of
the organization (Marcelino-Sádaba et al. 2014). The procurement processes are coming under

the project planning within which employees are engaged with their determination of skill and
the team has been formed so that the effective of the project can be seen. The work processes
that are involved within the project are distributed among the employees who have formed as

the business organization. Hence, the equipment and technologies are to buy by the company so
that these are used for the project and the proper executions of the project are possible.
The Gantt chart are produced for the determination of the project execution and the analysis of
the planning and schedule of it are successful. The Gantt chart does help the management to
assess the time required for the project completion and implementation of the CSR within the
business organization. This also determines the required resources and the order of the planning
for completion of the project. The projects are completed with the order of list enlisted within the
Gantt chart. The Gantt chart also does help for managing the dependencies within the tasks for
the project. Hence, the Gantt chart is essential for the project management and this has the
effectiveness to its purpose of solving the criteria for the proper execution of the project and its
processes that are involved within it.

Gantt chart has various advantages and they are as follows;

Avoid confusion to completion – the Gantt chart are produced for keeping the users on the right
track and by providing the visual timeline to start as well as finish the specific project and or
task. With the visual overview of the project milestones as well as the key dates for the activities
within the project, this chart would offer much understanding and memorable methods to
maintain the timescales which is based on the required tasks and deliverables on the track. These
recognized by daily, weekly as well as monthly and yearly basis.
Keeping everyone on the same track – the Gantt chart does help to keep every people who are
responsible for the completion of the project are on the right track. With the help of this there
does exist less chance of misunderstanding among the employees and the work processes. This
helps the stakeholders to have the equal information that are set by mutually understanding as
well as expectations. This helps to conduct the team effort according to the desired design of the
project that has to implement within the organization.
Understand task relationships – the relationship among the various tasks involved within the

research methods appropriate for meeting project aims and objectives
The research of the project aim and objectives are done by the simple questionnaire to the
people, which are involved directly or indirectly with the business organization (Hwang and Ng,
2013). These are done with the qualitative as well as quantitative analysis. The quantitative
analyses are done with the help of 60 parents of the children who are within the business
organization and the help of first and second manager of the company does the qualitative

P5 Analyse research and data using appropriate tools and techniques
The analysis of the data has produced many outcomes and the appropriate data are found from
the survey process that has been conducted by the business organization so that the pros as well
as cons could be found to incorporate the better implementation of the CSR within the business
organization. the analysis indicate that the employees of the organization are not so much skilled
resulting to which the company could not perform some of its processes during the
implementation of the CSR for the children within the company. They had to face the financial
shortage while implementing the same within them. The employees of the company have to train
with certain skills which would be beneficial for them in every aspects and the training session
must be done with some periodic gapping. The funds for the implementation of the CSR should
be adequate before the process of implication are started. However the quantitative analysis
states that the implication of the new CSR for the children benefit are well established and have
great success and this are stated by most of the parents of the children who are within this
organization. The parents had appreciated that fact that the implementation of the system would
help in the developing of society. They also had stated the steps are relevant with the
management of the project. Hence the survey for the data analysis are successful for the
