Artificial Intelligence is the development of the computer systems that helps in
performing all the tasks automatically. With the emergence of technology in the world, all the
simulations are being processes by machines which include the pre-programmed computer
system that ensures efficient and effective functioning in order to ease the work of the human
beings. This essay will help in understanding the concept and Rapid increase in the applications
of AI in this modern world. The report will also present the significance of using AI for
strengthening the technology based environment as well as negative impacts of AI on Humanity.
It will also helps in understanding the main impacts of promoting Artificial intelligence That
played as a role of a threat to human beings.
Is Artificial Intelligence is a threat to humanity
AI has become one of the most important controversial topics from past few years.
Artificial intelligence has helped in developing the computer system that is able to perform all
the automated tasks which belongs to human intelligence. Rapid growth of the technology have
transformed the way people communicate with each other, their thoughts, living standards and
many more things around the society. Invention of the interconnected society over internet has
brought sudden and drastic changes in the world. This has almost eliminated all such tasks which
were earlier cannot be done without the presence of the human. Also AI have increased
efficiency in doing the task (Arnold and Scheutz , 2018 ). Computer science have made a
substantial advancement in development of the computers that derives the Automation in the
form of Robots. The robotics and other kind of machines are progressively more and more able
to understand, speak and think the way human beings generally do. Even these AI machines are
capable of performing all those tasks which are hard to be performed by human beings.
Here, the main issue been arriving repeatedly is that “is the robots and pre-programmed
machines are reliable or trust worthy to shape the world”. This is one of the major concerns of
society that promoting the use of AI in the form of Robots may be a great threat to the humanity .
As it do not require human beings for managing, directing or organising any activities in
business organisation. This may effects the employment of the people and thus it will be
responsible for increasing unemployment after the emergence of automated work. Artificial
intelligence is now been able to perform the tasks of the humans such as Visual perception,
speech recognition, decision making etc. This has totally changed the overall perception of the

people in doing the jobs. Advancement of technology has leads to the development of the
Artificial intelligence which supports all the automated tasks (Bundy, 2017). If all the human
intelligence activities are performed with automated machines such as reasoning, learning, self
correction then there will be no need of the human intelligence to solve the problem. This is one
of the major threat as this leads to the lack of employment for the humans. Unemployment in the
country will resulted in economic imbalance and thus what will be the use of humanity after that.
It is a fact that such programs and logistics are feed into the machines with the help of the
human beings. So it cannot be denied that Artificial intelligence is the creation of the human
brain, as it is able to create such machines the same way human will also is able to destroy its
functioning. This has largely impacted on the jobs of the humanity as emergence of AI has
reduced the efforts of the humans and increased the use of the automated machine. Therefore it
has reduced the need for various organisations in order to employ human labour. Instead of this,
many organisations prefer to entertain the automatic functioning in the company. But it is also
one of the major reasons to defence the statement that “Artificial intelligence is a threat to
humanity”, as in case of any error or failure of program, human beings are the one who can
overcome such issues. So this can also be dependent on humans as they are the one who feed
programming in machines in order to compete with human intelligence in this technological
world (Etzioni, 2016). It may turn into a bane for a mankind if Human beings do not use it
wisely in all the sectors. This improved version of the technology in the form of Artificial
intelligence have also leads to the destruction of ethics and social values from the society. It
leads to the country towards vast underdeveloped as it may lack of employed people in country.
Evaluation of the AI in the field of technology has changed the ideas thoughts and living
standards of human beings to live a life so this has ultimately leads towards unhealthy and
unethical life of people that has turned towards the use of their physical as well as psychological
unemployment.
In addition, this can be believed that AI will become as strong as people wants it to
perform but these automated machines cannot peruse the human behaviour which involves lot of
emotions at the same time. Intelligent machine will not be able to adopt this basic behaviour of
the human beings unless software developers will explicitly feed such programs to adopt this
natural behaviour. But it will be tough for the human beings to program the machines in order to
feed the emotions within the Automated machines. This human behaviour may include feeling of

threatening, jealousy, wanting, etc (Staff, 2017). These are the various emotions of humans
which need to be programmed and such logistics are needed to be applied into the automated
machines in order to evolve the survival of new species.
Artificial intelligence is a way of making the computers an automatically controlled
machines that help the people in various different aspects. The use of Automated work force the
people in ideally enjoying their life without making any efforts to get the things done because AI
have provided various tools and techniques to human beings. Automated machines have
contributed towards the developed world but it has turned the society into a lifeless people. The
organisations are also using such automated techniques that helps them to achieve growth but it
leads towards lack of opportunities to people (Fast and Horvitz, 2017). since the Invention of the
automatic systems has shaped the world into technological based society. This has resulted in the
increased number of frauds and crimes due to the existence of the Virtual intelligence in IT. It
might cause threat to humanity but still all the work which are been performed by the machines
are operated with the help of the human beings (Artificial Intelligence, 2018).
AI can be used to create the Cyber Weapons which also protects the data and information
of the people. AI not only causing the harms to the humanity but it has also developed a question
mark on the survival and existence of the human beings. Use of AI have created a major impacts
on the human beings as these machines are using algorithms which have potential to make
Phishing attacks at a lot worse. Cyber crimes are increased a lot more as criminals could use the
individual's online information to manipulate the data and information. With the increasing use
of technology various social networking sites are been operated by the large number of people in
this world which are the major sourse to leak one's information (Hajra, Bandyopadhyay and
Hajra, 2016). These social networking sites may includes various sites such as Facebook,
Twitter, which can be easily accessed and it is the major source from where the criminals are
obtaining the personal data and information with the wrong intention to harm the privacy of the
person. On the other hand Artificial intelligence also includes various different types of machines
that helps the organization in improving the productivity and performance of the company. Use
of AI have also maximized the profitability of the company but emergence of AI have forced
people to apply limited mind as they are achieving all the aims efficiently. This results in
restricted use of human intelligence and brain. But due to the emergence of AI have found

various different techniques to break such privacy and information of the company and it has
ultimately leads to the vast destruction (Bostrom and Yudkiwsky, 2011).
Though Artificial intelligence is one of the fastest growing areas for high tech
professionals in which there are very few qualified engineers (Scott, 2018). Also Robotics and
AI will impact on the wide segments of daily life by 2025, with a huge implications for a range
of industries such as health care, transport, customer services and home maintenance. Over the
next five years, the world will witness the society in which we live in today that is entirely
disrupted today by the improved technology in the form of Artificial intelligence and machine
learning. As it have almost changed the social ethics of the society as children now a days are
growing with the AI assistant in their homes. As evaluation of the Artificial intelligence and
machine learning involves voice recognition, facial identification etc are continue to evolve as
the machine learning algorithms are getting smarter day by day. More and more industries are
being influenced by these technological ideas and concepts and helps in completely transforming
the society by shaping it digitally strong.
The greatest threat that AI poses today is replacing all the human jobs in performing
various activities (Krishnan, 2016). Automation of all the work has caused certain fears in the
minds of the people. However it may be viewed as a substitute at the place of the human beings.
After the development of AI, various industries have minimized the requirement for efficient and
skilled full workers as now all the intelligence is been applied by the machines. It have leads
towards increased unemployment as only experts are being hired for their intelligent efforts.
There is no value of the physical strength in the world as all the works which lot of strengths are
being done with the help of automated machines so there is no need to hire an employee for
performing such activities. Many expert also agreed upon the opinion that AI-enabled machines
will work the other way round in a manner that will make human kind depend on them to an
extent of growing useless. Meanwhile, many professionals across the world are contemplating an
ultimate partnership between artificial intelligence and Human intelligence. Here, AI is aimed at

In addition to it, the rise of Artificial intelligence in Digital marketing have provisioned
various have also increased the fraudulent and criminal activities in the world. The rise in the
predictive analysis tools and platforms will help the digital marketers to perform the targeted

involves machine learning and problem solving tasks will not only impacts negatively on the
society but also ruined the heritage and culture which is been followed by many historic years..
AI offers various opportunities in this sector as software developers but only in case if the person
poses a great and a expertise knowledge in the same field of logistics and machine learning
algorithms to ensure the functioning of such automated machines (Reinerman-Jones, and et.al.,
2017). All the concepts of AI such as image processing, data mining, google predictive search
bar etc have provided a ease to the life of the human so people are generally unaware to put any
extra efforts in doing their jobs.

the use of automated machines in the society which impacts on the employment of the human
beings. The study has described various consequences of using robotics in the world. This essay
