1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
In the educational system and working environment the personal learning and
development is particularly to create or upgrade the new skill set for future career growth. It
is highly believed that in order to attain excellent skill set and self confidence the individual
must choose personal learning and development approach of growth. As per my identification
and reflection on my personal approach for personal learning and development I prefer to
choose self analysis models such as skill audit, SWOT analysis or the personal development
plan. Among all these tools to analyze my own self competencies my personal approach is
SWOT analysis as it helps to undertake the focus on each of my attributes, behavioral
aspects, skills, knowledge that I posses at different degree of expertise. I am highly capable to
learn additional skills by myself and also to develop my personality to come along stronger
and confident. As per my personal approach the personal learning and development is
interesting yet difficult as it is not easy to identify owns personality to develop as the others
do. Therefore, I believe that for my personal learning and development I need to be attentive
and open to my surroundings.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
In modern world of businesses the company's are more looking for the candidates that
are multi- tasking, have diversified areas of expertise and most importantly have transferable
skills. These are the specific skills that are developed and added to the professional skills set
as they can be used and act as landing hand in any new job. Therefore, for every job seeker it
is highly important to seek some transferable skills for stronger resume. While attending the
module sessions I have personally identified different transferable skills and also developed
them during the course that is discussed below:
Problem solving: I have developed excellent problem solving skills as there were many
issues and problems occurred throughout the module sessions. I have potential to identify the
key roots of the problem that make understand the cause, thereby making it easy to find and
implement the solution. In modern business world the employers appreciate such skill which
is very useful for me to get better opportunities. I have worked hard at every session to
develop the problem solving skills so that I can identify the issue to resolve it quickly to
avoid damages.

leadership skills is considered at the key transferable skill required in different job role
making a employee or employer capable of leading a team or a project effectively.
Communication skills: the key transferable skill that is vital for every job role. From the
starting of the selection to the orientation at the job the communication skills are always the
key skill that every employer monitors. Good communication skills are the one that has clear
and concise and is able to share ideas information with clarity. During the module classes I
have developed the outstanding communication skills for my career as an HR manager I
would be requiring to communicate with others for which I have developed effective
communication skills.

places in the workplace such as to manage the project, team and much more. Therefore, I
would like to work on this skill at the workplace.
Computer and technical skills: during my academic studies I would like work on my
computer and technical skills as everything in the surrounding in the upcoming future is

requiring having significant knowledge and skills of computer applications and some key
