INTRODUCTION
Tourism sector is fast prospering business in all over the world. This helps in lending
different and types of travelling which includes joy, educational tours, foreign country travelling,
gathering information about historical sites . There are various private institutions and authorities
who are trying to take major steps which help in pulling number of tourists towards these
attractive places. Heritage and cultural locations are very important for experience locations
with historical values and understand their ethics and beliefs. That is why heritage and cultural
management is essential for company administration who mainly concentrate on them in proper
and clear manner. This report is based upon cultural and heritage management in which the case
of Barcelona and Venice where heritage and culture tourism management became important
(Blumenfield, 2013 ). The other incumbent value of heritage and culture are attractiveness
towards tourism industry. The government's main obligation and work is to make satisfy their
customers and fulfil their all demands and needs. Various institutions who work for the goodness
of heritage and cultural tourism management who know their responsibility and roles towards
them. Report contains all the methods and tools which are used for accomplishment of set
objectives and targets are discussed.

INRODUCTION
Cultural heritage is defined as the experience which the visitors gain after visiting different
destination. London, is having different tourist spot attract a large number of tourist from all
over the world. Buckingham Palace , British Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum are some
of the major attractive point for which the London city. It is also said that there are several other
tourist points and attractive heritage which attract a large number of tourist every year which
helped the government in attraction a large amount of revenue from tourism industry .
Timeline -There is a framework or a specific timeline regarding growth, prosperity and
development of the whole cultural and heritage sector. Initially British government do not give
any protection and conservations of any artefacts but after 1950 their grow started.

1940-1946- during these years first body of tourism was formed to support and protect cultural
heritage like UK museum, arts and libraries and historical monuments of a country. In those
initial times only British government was taking initiatives for raising funds for that
purpose.
1946-1990 – for encouraging the art and music in all over he country council was formed which
used the funds given by government fro promotion of heritage of the country.
1990-1997 – with this kind of support from the government many operation gates have been
generated to generate income from cultural and heritage sector. This process is very effected

people of the country. This organisation has has the responsibilities to manage all the sports

Growth and Development - Heritage and culture has started way back in 1841 , it was first
founded by Thomas Cook by its first tourism program to Egypt . This industry need development
and growth in every locations and area and in current scenario it is regarded as best industry with
very high growth rate.
Attractive Globally UK is regarded as a very attractive place. Places like Big Ben , forts and
other themes of a country. Besides the attractiveness the city provides several other benefits and
facilities to every class of customer. For promotions of different heritage and culture government
will have to take certain initiatives and obligations for construction of effective roads and
transportation which helps in attracting more travellers and adventurers in coming years. Cultural
heritage -there are 29 attractive tourist places out of them 23 have historical background. They
add values and beliefs which helps to attract more visitors e.g. Maritime Greenwich and
Botanical garden.
Natural – In all over UK there are 4 different natural places which are within the country's
boundary. Places like forests, national parks , Gough Island , woodlands etc.. the UK is very rich
in different types of varieties of flora and fauna compared to anywhere inn the world like black
rat and cats and all the visitors were guides with VR applications.
Heritage and culture - through survey it has been analysed that the tourism sector gives large
amount of move to the government which plays a major role in boosting economy of the

management of cultural places all over the countries. Apart fro this cultural heritages also tend to
remain in relations to authorised voluntary organisation. There are certain ownerships which are
described below
Private ownership- in this type all the important decisions are taken by owners. Their aim is to
attract a large number of tourist towards the attractive and popular locations. Their core aim is to
protect the culture heritage and making of cultural destinations.
`Political- it is responsibilities of authorities to protect the cultural heritages for doing this they
undertakes various tasks regularly which helps in providing historical value in the country
government enact strategies and which helps to control and increase economic growth. They also
have a group of experts advice them in improving the environment of cultural and heritage
places.
Collaboration- it is a activity where a private organisation and government goals comes together
for a specific goals in making heritage secure. They work collectively for raising culture and
heritage of a specific location (Agnoletti, 2014). It has been observed an effective
communication between the government organisation in UK has seen a drastic growth in

are discussed :
National trust – it is regarded as a very important factor of an organisation. They helps in
protecting the integrity of of cultural heritage in all over the country. They plays an important
role in protecting natural beauty of heritages as well as maintaining their values .they are also
liable to protect culture and environment in a proper manner.
English heritage - it is a registered national heritage of a country. This trust comprises of more
than 400 monuments and historical buildings. It is a public organisation under the British
Government who works in securing environment of nations(Little, 2012 ). They helps in
providing services and security to old buildings and enact planning for promotional and
advertisement activities which helps in attracting more tourist their sites and places. The
organisation is provides with funds from British government which helps inn enhancing culture
and beauty of place in an effective way .
Heritage Lottery Fund- it was formed under National Lotter Act 1993 and starts its operation in
1994. The major role they plays in making effective strategies and plans regarding security and
protection of these monuments ( Keitumetse, 2012). Heritage lottery fund takes fund from
national lottery and makes proper publicity of development of society. The charity amount helps
in assisting in development and restructure of damage monuments. Investments are planned
and distributed in such a way that all the heritages get adequate amount to develop.
Department of culture,media and sport – this department is located in United Kingdom which
have duties to boost the sports, culture and media in the country. Usually media are focussed
internet and broadcasting services. They are responsible for handling tourism as well as making
innovative ideas for flourish of business. In 2012 Olympics games and Paralympic games this

and fauna specially endangered and extinction species as they also play a huge role in attracting
tourists, researchers and scholars for their studies. The collective guidelines will help in
controlling, monitoring and formulating plans which will benefit the organisation as well as
country .

To visit any heritage location or museum, it is necessary to realize the creation about
these places. This helps in investigating and diffusing consciousness, which is affiliated to
heritage and culture places (Cuccia ,2011). It assists in getting help in investigation and
spreading aid to measure these cultures in healthier style(Blumenfield2013). There are various
media and methods available which is adopted by the industry to explain the importance of
various concepts. Representation is essential in three diverse steps within the context of cultural
sectors. Some are discussed as under: Before Arrival Time- At this time, visitors can be attracted by videos, picture, promotion,
posters, blogs place at different points that includes websites, social media sites, country
sites. It is that step which aid in devising interest between visitors. At the Arrival time- They commonly distribute broacher, posters as well as templates that
helps in pulling huge number of customers and provide all needful information regarding
famous places. In this time, they transmit all data to their visitors. After visiting time- At the time of departure, guides provide them with picture, gifts,

be conducted in different forms like gallery talks, eye opener tours. In every 90 minutes
famous places are displayed highlighting their values to the public. Exhibition- Museums arrange demonstration at various places to render information and
data regarding that place. Image of actual article and digital show are primarily utilised to
examine proper representation which is to be performed in faithful manner.
