Introduction
The report has comprehensively put forward the understandings and learnings of the
portfolio regarding two diverse topics which plays crucial role. These topics are social media,
CSR and whistle-blower, workplace ethics. These two topics under the organizational context are
very complex. Social media and CSR are very popular topics as social media is used by
everyone, including businesses and corporate social responsibilities are supposed to be fulfilled
by the organization for the smooth flow of operations. Also, it will cover whistle-blower and
workplace ethics which critical aspect of the business. Further the report will show the reflection
of the experience seminars has provided and understandings that are developed.

Social media is one of the trendy thing which help for providing the future prediction that
help by focusing on creating impact in the forefront of CSR campaign. Individual believes that
CSR activities are help for providing information on the basis of social media by influencing
their behaviour positively. Along with this, social media played major role in order to provide
how team can communicate easily with the help of CSR practices as well as it is related to the
opportunity that help for interact with stakeholders and maintain authentic and permanent
relations with them by achieving a competitive advantage (Aagaard, 2022). On the other hand, it
has been analysed that there are different types of technological platforms which are help for
bringing transparency in implementation. This is also helped for prioritizing CSR expenditure in
order to align the need on grounds and helping for choose the right stage for planning. With the
help of video content, it is help for practical choice in order to distribute information and help for
generating interest in students. The main motive of the seminar is based to appeal. For university
that kind of seminar are help for providing engaging with charity work.
Discussion
Corporate social responsibilities have various niche areas in it which were explained well
through the medium of video content (Rhou and Singal, 2020). Video content had many such
informative area which were helpful in the development of the impact of CSR on the business
and how they confront the responsibilities in business. It was learnt in the seminar that corporate
social responsibilities are the constant commitment of the business to maintains the ethics and

contribute towards the social responsibilities. Business uses so many resources from the society
which makes it ultimately responsible for giving the society back. Hence, organizations use
corporate social responsibilities in order to fulfil and show their concern and efforts towards the
society. Further seminar also has various other sources such as article and brochure distribution
which acknowledged the importance of the social media use and making social media a safe
place for the people. In the recent times social media has high influence on all age group pf the
society hence it is important to look after that (Chaker, 2022)

I have found the strong intentions among employees in order to provide knowledge for
work socially and responsible corporations in order to communicate success with the help of
initiatives through social media. The most prominent argument put forward was the importance
of the social media for the business in the country and it becomes mandatory for the people in
business to make internet and social media a safe place of the business hence, cooperating
various practices in the business which becomes the regulations. Each use of social media in the
business has its own CSR regarding the use of the platform which brings serenity for the place. I
have personally felt that the seminar has brought various topic of discussion regarding the
business and how they can cooperate the various benefits to the society by just following the role
and responsibilities properly.
Whistle blower and workplace ethics:
Preparation
Whistle blowing is one of the tricky matters. It is considered as the most doable practice
to do in the public interest. Yet it must be done in proper manner and needs due care and
diligence. In an organization there are various set of workplace ethics which needs to be abided
by the employees yet sometimes employees may feel problematic in the organization regrading
some wrong doings. Seminar had detected various aspect of the same topic by using various
sources such as video content and articles which has over the year built the work place ethics.
These ethics are in interest of both organization and employees (Verschoor, 2018). Video content
gave some prominent aspect by visual presentation. It has brought forwards many dynamics
which leads to whistle blowing in the organization. These are the various policies which are used
by the organization in development of the best workplace ethics as they have direct connection
with the whistle-blowers in the organization which is very helpful.

Various problems like some gets promoted just because of some reputation and
connection in the organization, employees facing discrimination in the organization on the basis
of race, caste creed, gender, age, religion etc. it may result in violating the trust of the co-
workers. The various article which were used in the seminar has depicted the interconnection
between the work place ethics and whistle-blowers, as these are the people who widely
understand the problems and have to go out of the way to address and bring the same forwards.
The utter need to establish effective workplace ethics and making the compliance very smooth
yet mandatory for the people, is very useful. Many times there arise conflicts in the organization
between hierarchies yet it is very critical to deal with the same. Reporting the wrong doing in the
organization is in interest of the various stakeholders and workplace. The comprehensive relation
in maintaining the best form of workplace ethics and norms which are highlighted in the
organization and power must kept within the best of the redress-al approach which becomes the
forum where different departments in the organization can repost the same.
Reflection
Further, various resources are being useful in the sense that it shows the best of the
practices and seminar was conducted in a very comprehensive way which depicted the usage of
workplace ethics and its long term impact in the organization. When right platforms are build in
the organization which act as a watch dog in the organization and takes care of all the
malpractices in the organization. Further the seminar also highlighted various points such as
importance of the reporting and how whistle-blowers must be dealt with in the organization. As
the clarity on the various aspects is needed, in order to depict the role of each individual in the
maintaining of the workplace ethics. There were some points of disagreement as well such as the
belief that whistle-blower can act in the wrong manner in the personal interest rather than the
stakeholders interest.
Conclusion
Seminar has been very helpful in building a critical perspective of the overall scenario.
As in the first one it emphasized various dynamics and influential aspect of workplace ethics and
corporate social responsibility of the business. Each business has its own working environment
which in turn uses the resources of the business in some ways or the other hence it becomes the
duty of the business to take care of the society for the resources it has taken and giving back to

the society. Especially those big organizations which runs on multiple departments and have
many people in the organization it becomes difficult for the higher hierarchy in the business to
take care of each person who is working in the niche category. Hence, these acts practices must
be delegated and not left upon the sole shoulders of a specific team in the business. These type of
practices work in favour of the business by making the business very sustainable in the long
term. Each business small of big has its own need of resources (Silas-Dikibo and Njoku, 2022).

I personally have gained a vital perspective of assuring the confrontation of the business
with its CSR. In the next session the whistle-blower and workplace ethics, the seminar was a
gem changer as I always had the perspective of making the best workplace ethics which gives
people place to address the problems they are facing. Yet the interesting aspect was that
employees in the organization may not feel safe while bring up the issue as upper hierarchy may
not be entertaining the same. This is why they look outside and report various points of concerns
such as the discrimination and promotion. Yet these whistle-blowers are reporting in favour of
the stakeholders and business of the organization. As they critically understand various aspects
and suffer from the same.
Many times organization has seen down time due to lack of best work ethics on place
which need compliance in the organization. Yet these type practice provide platform to the yet
there are various aspects which were not covered in the seminars and those were really important
such as the topic of interrelation among various business dynamics and collaborative working
style which enhance the corporate working and following the CSR of the business. In the next
aspect there has been vital aspect which were covered, yet I personally think that whistle-blower
cloud have been critically analysed to bring the best way forward in the organization. As an
organization suffers a lot when of faces backlash from the public domain due to the reporting of
the issue which is important to solve. Overall these seminars have been very knowledgeable and
brought us the understanding of the various aspects and dynamics which can improve the
perspective of the receivers in the short term.
