In this new increasing digital world, corporately and personally communication has
become a very essential part. People who lack professional and good communication skills most
time fails to share their point of views and opinion in front of others. Many issues surrounding
communication, employee performance and corporate culture are identified in Boomerang
Corporation the company nominated. Some communication issues were identified for the media
professionals of Boomerang Corporation. In order to improve the communication skill the
different actions that are to be taken are as follows:
Constant communication: Speaking and listening are the two most effective aspects of
communication should be improved among the journalistic culture of the company. Before start
writing story or article for the reader’s one should communicate with others and make sure that
whatever content is decided to write is successfully agreed by all the other associate corporate
employees or coworkers (Xie 2017). Verbal open communication is the styles of communication
to be used for such cases. Information sharing will become easier. Open communication gives an
effective and common discussion platform to all the employees. With the help of this approach
people from different cultural background will also be able to share their opinion with others.
Clarity in communication: Clarity is very essential in communication to make the rest
understand about what the person actually wants to convey. Compact content is required with
few words eliminating unnecessary things are very important (González 2018). It will help the
media professionals understand the actual news that is going o be shared with the audience,
readers and viewers as well.

Confidence: The communication has to be firm but friendly. The speaker who will
deliver the content must use firm tone but friendly approach. It will help to improve the
communication environment (Garcia et al. 2019). One will feel free to ask question and any
other query they may have regarding the situation.
Eliminate repetition of words: Repetition of same words mostly irritates the readers. In
other word, from the Boomerang Corporation scenario it is identified that, the word “but” is used
many times. In the 850 words story the term “but” is used almost 12 times. Due to multiple
usage of “but” the reader will not actually be sure about the direction of the story. In order to
resolve this type of issues the writers must use relevant words and focus on clarity more.
Use of authentic sources: In order to deliver the best to readers or customers it is very
important to eliminate miscommunication and misleading information. In order to improve the
communication platforms the writers need to use authentic sources from where data will be
consequently collected (Boca et al. 2017). In order to make best decision accurate as well as
precise information are very important.
Utilization of social media: Using social media the process of communication can be
improved further in the journalistic corporative community. Social media is referred to as one of
the best and effective communication platform in this digital world. It helps to improve the
process of streaming and dedication.
Developing accurate policy: In order to avoid communication and cultural issues the
Boomerang Corporation needs to update their existing policy and norms according to the current
attire. It will help the company to improve their cultural norms and surrounding culture as well.

It can be said that in the globalized economy, sensitivity regarding culture is something
very essential (Bovée, Thill and Raina 2016). In order to get success in business understanding
the cultural differences and its impact is very important for business associates. Many complex
interactions can be navigated by understanding the manners as well as cultural time management
differences.
Mannerism, gesture and customer: while doing business from another affiliate country
the cultural differences have to e considered by the corporate associates. The body language,
gesture differences may hamper the customer base and their expectations as well (Boca et al.
2017). Barrier in language is another aspect that affects the corporate atmosphere. Customer may
not understand the language and thus misunderstanding can take place. Personal appearance of
an employee is dependent on his/her cultural background. Building trust among the people
coming from different location and with different cultural background can create communication
challenges in business organization (Xi 2017). The relationship between the different associates
may also be hampered with cross cultural differences. If the stakeholders are found coming from
different culture business may lose clarity in objectives, scope and aim as a whole.
Cultural diversity can hamper individual’s professionalism as well. If the surrounding
workplace is found o be not that supportive then enthusiasm of an employee will start
decreasing. Misunderstanding among the working employees may create chances of conflict
occurrences as well. Due to miscommunication and cultural gap the conflict may occur in the
workplaces which again impact the business environment.
