INTRODUCTION
Management of business enterprise is analysed as important as it involves various
planning and controlling tool which assists the management in making changes in the
operational activities for increasing profitability (BNS and HV, 2013). In this competitive
business scenario, firms need to formulate and implement appropriate policies and strategies
which support them to sustain its position in market for longer time duration. Present report is
based on analysis of role effective research design and important characteristics of qualitative
research. Further, thematic analysis have been conducted for identification of present thinking
and trends in future in particular area of business and operations management.
1. Role of effective research design and features of qualitative research
Qualitative research is essential kind of research methodology that usually takes
assistance of various theories and essential models for carrying out research in coherent and
logical manner. This will not involve numerical measurement tools for identification of
answers of research questions. It is considered as analytical methodology used for conducting
study which gather comprehensive data related to research topic.
Research Design: It is considered as overall strategy which is selected by scholar for
integration of different components of the study in the effective and logical way, thereby
ensuring that scholar will properly resolve the research problem (Neuman, 2013). Usually there
are various kinds of research design like Exploratory, descriptive, exploratory etc.
In this research, researcher has intended to gain support of proper descriptive research design
as it supports in analysis of actual situations. Further, researcher will tend to avoid rigid designs
which is able to complexity and remove responding important opportunities. In addition,
method of descriptive research is utilized by scholar to undertake an In-depth analysis in
accordance with the topic so that researcher will be able to explore the important ideas
(Panneerselvam, 2014). This study included human participants as they possess knowledge
about real life and it will be able to determined about present situation of workplace.
Data collection:
Collection of data is essential method of qualitative research strategy which is used to
completion of research project. It is also considered as process of gathering data through various

sources for completion of research effectively. Usually there are two important methods of data
collection such as primary and Secondary method.
According to present study in qualitative, therefore scholar has implemented primary data
collection sources Interview has been considered as tools which is used by scholar for collection
of data by asking relevant questions from sample size (Vaioleti, 2016). Apart from that,
secondary data collection are the important sources in which scholar will make use of data
which is already published in the report, articles, journals and books for development of
understanding related to topic of research.
In this context, Scholar has focused upon carrying qualitative research and applied
primary method for data collection (Flick, 2015). Interview transcript is has made by scholar
from respondents feedback which helps in getting overall information and understand of
subject. In the qualitative research, researcher has made direct contact with respondents who are
selected through sampling. Interview is taken from person having appropriate knowledge about
the topic. Through this, actual thinking of respondents has been involved with research which
has allowed scholar to answer research questions appropriately. In this situation, scholar will
give be able to address research problems appropriately.
Data analysis :
After collection of data about the research topic, interviewer should use appropriate
method for analysing data in order to achieve relevant outcomes. There are usually two methods
of data analysis such as Quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Qualitative analysis of data
is based on assumption that every study carried by scholar is different from others. However, it
can be stated that qualitative methodology involves method of thematic analysis which is used
by scholar for research. In this, themes have been prepared and important data have been
presented by using graphs and charts (Gale and et.al., 2013). Further, it is an important method
that helps in establishment of patterns and creating interrelationships. It also reflects own
thinking and convey authenticity for increasing the credibility of research.
In this context, Qualitative research is not consists any statistical calculation for addressing
research problems. It is also used by scholar for undertaking research in appropriate and simple
manner in order to be able to for answering research questions.

Theme1: Significant areas for business in the future.
Interpretation and analysis: As per the above interview, it can be stated alteration and
development are important and major concerns which can assistance to organisation towards
managing important situations well and achievement of success within market. When these
entities are moving through appropriate changes and accomplishing necessary changes as per
requirements of market. Then it will beneficial for organisation for maintaining its position in
market for longer time duration. Development and implementation of technologies as well as
strategies are considered as current trend support which firm with attaining high success in
market.
Theme2: Ways to look at organisational changes.
Interpretation and analysis: From the interview, it is clear that respondents stated that
organisational changes has played an essential role within enterprise. It is essential for
enterprise to look upon micro and macro environment in order to make modification in its
business operations so that they will be able to meet the requirement of customers. The main
objectives of business enterprise is raise their revenues and expansion of business operations
across countries.
Companies should have to concentrate upon the alterations within organisation and
operational process so that business will be able to sustain its position within market
continuously and will be able to attain competitive advantage over rivals. Human resource
managers of business enterprise are usually responsible for controlling and monitoring of
alteration which have been taken place within enterprise. They are usually able to formulate
effective policies and effective taking correct decisions through which business enterprise will
be able to make changes. These changes provide support ion accomplishment of major

strive and implement innovative idea in business operations for sustaining its competitive
position in market. Application of innovative changes in products and service enable business to
attain success. While application of these ideas, company tends to resolve several issues. These
issues have provided threat of reduction in business profitability and performance within market.
In case, if they will analyse features and methods, then it will be able to apply new and
innovative ideas for achievement of growth in competitive business environment.
Theme5: Conscious Level of organisation
Interpretation and analysis : As per the analysis, it is clear that respondent have also provided
appropriate information which enterprise is now providing more focus on risk analysis and
implementation of risk mitigation policies and strategies. Further, analysis of different ways
through which business enterprise can appropriate deal with the problems and risks. However, it
stated that strategies for risk management is implemented for resolution of problems.
Theme6: Important of analysing risk
Interpretation and analysis: It is identified that respondent has provided information about
organisation that they need to be aware about risk in order to resolve or avoid problems that
will influence overall important systems of business enterprise. In addition, business enterprise
is highly subjected towards various kinds of risk factors with an effective and uncertain future.
Further, proper internal and external environmental factors has provided risk to determine the
evolution and development of business enterprise in the future. Thus, it is important for company
to identify risk and mitigation strategies which helps in sustain competitive position in market.

Theme7: Expansion of business in other areas
Interpretation and analysis: From the above statement, it is analysed that company has
established its business operations in other overseas nations. Business environment is analysed as
essential and crucial factor that renders effect decisions of company for business expansion in
market. It is also essential for business enterprise to analyse the factors that affect their business
operations to take corrective actions for resolving of problems. It is also essential for business
enterprise to decrease its power consumption and it should take adopt sustainable energy.
Therefore, It is clear that management of company is required to conduct an analysis of
conditions of business in internal and external environment.
Theme8: Role of universities
Interpretation and analysis: As per the analysis, it is identified that respondents have stated that
university has its important role in increasing employment opportunities for graduates who are
able to analyse risk. While it is essential for scholar to analyse issues while pitching for job to
any industry. University takes effective measures to provide information about new employment
opportunities and analysis of issues.
Theme9: Key main criteria for recruitment of business students.
Interpretation and analysis : In interview session, respondent stated that criteria behind
recruitment of academic students was to attract fresh talent which provide them support in
managing business resources. Aim of company is to recognise skills and abilities of individuals
at workplace such as analytical, management, communication, technical and strategic
management. These types of skills are important to attain growth and development within
enterprise. Therefore, it is analysed that management of resources was important criteria behind
success of enterprise.
Theme10: Effectiveness of students performance.
Interpretation and analysis: Interviewee stated that universities take employability of their
seriously and they usually try to built capabilities in their students so that they will be able to
attain job in corporates. They organize various problems for students and provide total learning
experience as well prepare to face challenges in the future.

3. Key findings and implications of analysis
From the above discussion, It is identified that organisational changes in important for
business to sustain its competitive position in market. Company usually tries to implement
changes in their process and way of products to improve their efficiency in market. There are
various significant areas of business in which changes have been occurred such as marketing ,
production, operation and human resource management. Implementation of new and important
techniques and technologies within enterprise has provided support in improvement of business
operations. Application of new technology in market has raised opportunities for expansion of
business in overseas nations. Companies at international or small business level usually provide
their focus on analysis of internal and external business environment. This will provide them
support in identification of factors which affect their activities and expansion in the future.
Identified of risk is also important for resolution of disruption which can occur in the future.
Proper risk mitigation strategies will be adopted by enterprise to remove implications of issues
on business and achieve ability to sustain in market for longer period. Criteria behind recruitment
of academic students was to attract fresh talent which provide them support in managing
business resources. Aim of company is to recognise skills and abilities of individuals at
workplace such as analytical, management, communication, technical and strategic
management.
CONCLUSION
From this report, it is concluded that management of change plays has its essential role
behind success of organisation and removal of disruption from workplace. High growth and
recognition has provided ability to organisation for maintaining its competitive position in
