1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development,
and the transferable skills
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Personal development plays an important role in an individuals life as it helps
them in various fields of life and leads them to achieve better success in future.
Along with this, personal development also plays a vital role in an individual's life as
well because it leads them to attain better behaviors and skills in their lifestyle that
directly leads to attaining better wealth. Personal learning and development is an
ongoing and a continuous process and individuals keeps on working on themselves
according to their goals and objectives that they need to fulfill so that better earnings

can be enhanced by them (Wijiharta, 2022). These training and development
generates a differentiated skills and knowledge in an individuals that leads them to
gain competitive advantage in the market so that better results or better future
opportunities can be attained. Personal development is a process that is undertaken
by different individuals or personnel so that skills knowledges as well as behaviours
can be enhanced in a person. These development can be made in different ways so
that results can be obtained. In addition to this, different firms includes personal
development sessions in their working so as to increase the efficiency of the
employees by developing the potentials in the person and enhancing the skills in
them. These skills plays an important role in an individuals life as well as in an
organisation because it directly results in better productivity of the individual and the
organization as a whole.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
In order to get better results or to get better job opportunities so that better
way of living can be enhanced, there are various skill that I have developed in
myself. These skills have developed in myself through various sessions that I
attended during my academic sessions. These skills supported me in different fields
that lead to better potential in me. Some of skills that were developed by me are:-
 Problem solving skills:- Problem solving skills are the abilities that refers to
the abilities that are inherited in an individual which leads them provide
solutions or resolutions of the issues or problems that are arising in the
organization or the society (Ummah and Yuliati, 2020). Solving of these
problems leads to gaining better results in the organizations hence these
skills plays an important role in an individual's life. I developed problem
solving skills in me as it was necessary for me because I faced various
problems while managing my studies. Also while working on this schedule
there were various problems that slowed me down from giving results but the
problems were solved effectively and efficiently.
 Communication skills:- Effective communication skills plays a crucial role in
an individuals life as better communication skills leads to convey information

among their superiors and their subordinates in a better way so as no doubts
are left in the minds of the listeners (Mata and et. al., 2021). While attending
this module, I developed communication skills in myself as in order to
complete this project, I had to coordinate and communicate with different
groups of individuals so that effective information can be acquired as well as
doubts can be solved.
 Leadership skills:- Leadership skills are the skills that includes to manage
different groups or individuals in their working so that better collective efforts
can be enhanced as well as productivity of the individuals and group can be
maximized as a whole (Zeike and et. al., 2019). While attending this
assignment, this skill was also developed in me as in order to achieve desired
goals, I had to get help from other individuals and in order to get better
results, I needed to manage them in a way so that no doubts can be left in
their minds as well as they can be managed efficiently.
 Decision making:- Decision making is a skills that is required by most of the
firms in their professionals so as more initiative task force can be hired that
can manage the firm and their task through their decision quick decision
making power (Murray and et. al., 2018). While working on this module, this
skill was also developed in me as in order to come up with this assignment, I
had to take various decisions and initiatives with regards of this project such
as choosing of the appropriate data and sources that will help me give better
effective results.
The above discussion was made on the skills and abilities that has been
developed in me while working on this module. On the other hand, there were other
abilities too that were enhanced in me while accomplishing this assignment these
skills were learning skill, researching skills, and writing skills. In addition to this I am
continuously working on myself in order to develop other essential skills in me that
will help in in gaining better effective results in the coming future.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace

With the completion of this report, it has been analyzed by me that
professional skill plays an important role in an individuals and enhancement of these
skills will lead me to give advantage in various skills. It has been concluded that I
would like to develop more skills and abilities in myself in order to get better effective
opportunities in the future. The skills I would like to develop are:-
1. Critical Thinking skills:- Critical thinking skills is the skills that enables an
individual to think thoroughly about the happening or the operation around
them. It enables them to think deeply about the things and the reason behind
the happening (Alsaleh, 2020). In order to avail better opportunities, I will
develop this skill in me so that details can be studied about the problems
happening around me so that issues can be resolved effectively and
efficiently.
2. Teamwork skills:- Teamwork skills are the skills that plays a very important
role in life of an individual as well as the organisation. It is important for a
person to know how to get along with different types of peoples so that better
results can be enhanced through the group of individuals. In order to
enhance better future opportunity to avail, I will develop this skills in myself
so that I can handle different group operations in the organisation.
3. Presentation skills:- Presentation skills are the skills and abilities related to
addressing ones self to the other personnels so that they can effectively
understand the thoughts an individual is trying to picture. I will enhance this
skill in me so that I can effectively explain myself to the other listeners or
subordinates and also to present myself in an impressive way in the society.
