Question 1- Similar business model work in other industry
With the case of ALDI, it is clear that the similar kind of model can be used within the
similar industry. But this will not be suitable within any other industry. This is particularly
because of the reason that in case the two businesses operating in the same industry will work
with similar business model then it will be beneficial. But in case the similar model sis being
applied in other industry then it might not be possible that it provides for the same output. For
example, ALDI is using a business model which enhances the experience of consumer working
within the company. But it is not necessary that the same type of the business model will help
other company has well to get the same amount of benefits.
On the other hand, within the same industry as well the use of same business model can
negatively impact the working. This is particularly based on the scale of business operation.
Many a times it is possible that the scale of the business affects the working efficiency of the
company because the same model can provide different outcome when operated at different
level. For instance, ALDI is undertaking the use of restocking the selves in 7 days. But this
model of business is not suitable for the company who is having less stock as their stock will not
be used in the time duration of 7 days.
Question 2-Sacrifices customers have to make in order to have access to this shopping
experiences
Consumer make various sacrifices as by offering and purchasing products from the single
store as for obtaining and gaining the other advantages. There are various sacrifices that
consumer have to make in order to have shopping experience in ALDI are as follows:
Self-interest: Consumers is sacrificing their self-interest, as by frequently visiting to the
stores for shopping the limited products offered by the company. This is the main sacrifice as of
self-interest for purchasing the products which is offered only at ADLI. Thus, it influences the
decision-making process as for purchasing the products from ALDI.
Price: Consumer is scarifying the pricing factors as by frequently visiting to stores for
purchasing products. The ALDI is offering few and limited products to large consumers. As
when consumers are shifting to the other company for purchasing the products in bulk will help
in saving the expenses done for purchasing the products from ALDI. As purchasing in bulk
benefits consumers for purchasing at low prices in large quantity.

Quality: Consumers is scarifying the quality as for purchasing the perishable items of the
stores of ALDI, as selling products at low cost the company is offering low quality products of
fruits and vegetables to consumers (Patro, 2019). As for purchasing at low cost and gaining
additional benefits offered by company, consumer is scarifying quality of products by not
shifting to purchase products from other stores. by purchasing low quality perishable products
from the stores of ALDI.
TASK 3
Example wherein management team practiced positive ethical approach
For the businesses to be successful it is very important for the company that they involve
the use of ethical practices. This is necessary for the reason that when the ethical practices will
be followed then this will be providing better working to the company and its performance will
increase. The use of positive ethical approach is very essential to be followed because this will
be providing better working environment and all the employees will work ethically. For instance,
McDonald is a company which work ethically and all the practices used by the company are
good and effective. This is particularly because of the reason that these ethical practices assist
company in developing the work and profitability and overall performance of the company is
increased.
For the ethical working, McDonalds took the initiative of investing more money within
the employee skills and animal rights. This is very important for the company that they must
protect the employees right as they are the people who actually work for the betterment of the
company. the top management of the company makes the direction and strategies but the
employees are the one who need to be work on those strategies. So it is very important for
McDonalds that they must take proper care of employees. Hence, as a result of this, McDonalds
increased the investment of employee assistance from $700 to $3000 for the benefit of
employees. This approach or the ethical practice resulted in the increase in motivation level of
the employees working within the company. hence, this decision resulted in benefit of the
employees within the company.
In this competitive working environment there are many different types changes and
technological advancement being taking place. Hence, for this reason it is very important for the
companies that they must use all the ethical approaches to working as it creates a good working
culture within the company. The reason underlying this fact is that when the working

environment is ethical then this will be resulting in increase in capability of the employees. This
is pertaining to the fact that when the business will be working on ethical terms then this will be
providing better working and resultantly the performance will increase. Hence, in case of
McDonalds the company is working in direction of protection of employees and their rights.
When a company employs different types of the employees then it is the responsibility of the
company that they provide for the training and development of employees in accordance to the
latest changes in business. hence, McDonalds is undertaking and working in direction of the
protection of the employees. Thus, when the company is working towards the protection and
development of the employees then this result in better and effective manner.
TASK 4

Notes- The IT is very important as the business area because in this competitive world the use of
technology is very important as this improves the working condition of the company.
furthermore, this technology also assists in managing the operations of company because it
involves the working with help of technology and this makes the working more precise and
good.

With this I also learnt that using technology is very important for the business in order to
improve the working efficiency of the business. In case the working will be done with help of
using technology then this will be improving the working efficiency of the business.
