INTRODUCTION
Managing a successful business project help to manage and control on all activities
relating to the business or company. In the business having many activities and operations those
have to mange and complete on the time and according to the planning. That help to achieve the
decided targets and goals of the company and help to develop business in the systematic manner.
All companies are working for to earn highest profit and develop their business in the market and
provide better satisfaction to all the customers as well as they are also working for society
welfare and develop a healthy environment to society to build trust on them. CSR programmes
and activities are help to provide safety, security and education to society's persons and improve
their knowledge. Tesco is the retail company in UK. That provide all kind of products to
customers to full fill their needs and wants and give proper satisfaction to them. This company
already build a brand image in the market as well as this company conduct CSR programmes and
activities for public to provide healthy and effective environment for them and if they having any
issues and problems so that will resolve them(Ajmal, Helo and Kekäle 2010.).

P1: Devise clear aims and objectives for your project
The basic and main objective of research project is to find out something new and
different things related to the businesses. Heads of the projects are the already decided goals and
objectives of the organisation. The heads of the organisation having the control on the research
project. Some group of people divided in a team for managing and controlling the work related
to the research project. In the research project the work is set as per the priorities and those work
are also done in their priorities basis(Bloch, Blumberg and Laartz, 2012). Tesco making research
project according to the work priorities and they work for attaining objective and goals of the
organisations. The research project having some set of objectives and goals these are as under :
 The main purpose of research project in Tesco is to achieve the goals and objectives of
the organisations and develop the working performance of teams member so it is easy for
them to achieve the decided goals and objectives of research project.
 Tesco conduct CSR activities and programmes just to develop society and their living of
standards. Because of growth of the organisation every company adopt CSR activities

and try to develop the around society by influencing people and making awareness about
the companies CSR activities.
 Tesco establish healthy environment through CSR activities and give solution for issues
and problems.
 The main aim of Tesco is to reach the targeted goal and objectives of the organisation
and establish a better image of the business in market place and customers mind.
 The business uses various strategies and techniques to attract large number of customers
and try to give proper service and product to the customers as per their preferences and
needs their basic aim is to give proper satisfaction to the customers.
 Tesco adopt innovative ideas and techniques just to increase productivity in market.
Businesses focuses. on quality service and their delivery system(den Hertogvan ,der Aa
and de Jong 2010).

research project team. There are mainly using two types of methods those help to manage and
control on all project relating activities and works in the effective manner. On the basis of there
methods team members are working in the systematic manner and easy to achieve task and
objectives of the project.
Work break down structure: In this method activates and works are set according to the
priorities in the research in which all employees are easy to identify and easy to eveluvate works
in the systematic manners so they complete their task and easy to achieve goals and objectives.
In this structure including some stages those under the below:
 Identifying the objectives and goals of the research project: In this stage explain and
identify objectives and goals of the research project to all members of the research

project. In this stage explain to all employees the main reasons to conduct this reach plan
in the actual process to all team members so they will complete the work effectively.
 Assigning the stages: in this stage works and activities are assigning to all member of the
research project according to their capabilities and skills of working. Because in the
process should understand the emplanes capabilities of working and their performance. If

programmes(Keller, Parameswaran and Jacob 2011).
 Control baseline: After the assigning the works to all employees or team members of the

project process so Gantt chart help to define all works in the chart form in which including
various stages of research project those are under the below:
 In the first stage of Gantt chart should analysis and evaluation of work break down
structure in the effective manner. Work break down structure those easy to define and
identifies activities and works of research project(Kerzner, 2013.).
 After that collecting the information and data of the research project by using methods
and techniques effectively and accordingly to the nature of project.
 In this stage prepare a effective time scheduling to complete the work in the systematic
manner. All employees are working according to the time scheduling in the company to
