Part A: Analysis – Business Process Models and strategy analysis
Most of the organizations are having their own Information System (IS) for managing different
business processes. CC Music is a band of two people, which are Chris and Clive. Both are
music teacher. They have a long history in the field of music. They are playing music in different
concerts. Agents are booking the shows for music and they are playing music for studio work,
parties, events, TV, and radio programmes.
Now, they want to change the system of booking for music shows. They publicize the band
through website and social media. They are having six members in band. They want to manage
all the booking via phone. They want to take payment and contract through post. They want to
start an agency for their band. They want a business model for maintain all the processes of their
business. They have different objective for the agency. They want to include some
responsibilities in the system, which are social media marketing, appointments of events,
keeping business accounts, communication between band and clients ( Linden, 2015).

Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) requires Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
for managing customer’s feedbacks and details for different uses in future. Enterprise Resource
Management (ERM) software is used for large and small business. It is a large-scale software
program, which is designed for managing different business processes of an organization
(360strategy.co.il, 2011).
Business model is requiring different approaches to fulfill the objective of an organization. CC
Music Company is requiring software for managing different business processes though
software. Therefore, it provides facility to no confusion for payment and band booking (Obeidat,
et al., 2015).
Business Process Models:
Business Process Model and Notation for CC Music is showing in below diagram. It is covering
their booking and accounts as well as appointments (White, 2018). It reduces financial and
accents related issues, which are arise in the case of booking through agents. They can manage
all the things through the website (Bharadwaj, et al., 2013).

SWOT analysis is providing details about the strengths of an organization. It is a way to create
strategies based on the strength, threats, opportunities, and weakness of an organization
(Sabherwal & Becerra-Fernandez, 2012).

and opportunities, they should adopt a business model, which can provide strong business
processes that reduces their weaknesses. It is necessary to analyses threats and weaknesses of
company. Therefore, they can take at higher priority and start their business with avoidance of
those threats. However, there are always many risks for a business (Provost & Fawcett, 2013).

Open Source Software are freely available for different purposes. Software is requiring licenses
and payment. Open Source software are freely available. Therefore, many organizations are
having Linux operating system for different purposes as well as applications (Bonaccorsi, 2003).

vendors in market. Many organizations are having confidential data in their computer systems as
well as cloud storage. Therefore, they are also requiring security as well. Open source software is
already secure. Therefore, they are not requiring any other software for security. It reduces

applications for management of different business processes. It is better for those people that are

Odoo is easy to setup through simple forms to entre information about the business. It is clean
and user-friendly software. It is having built-in functions for reporting. It is free for five users.

Odoo is best for the small-medium businesses as well as large enterprises. It provides human
resource and inventory facilities. Open source technology is best in present era for normal
business providers. It is having law cost as per CC music requirement. All the processes of CC
music can be easily manage through the Odoo ERP software. ERP software is used for the
business processes. Therefore, it should be adopted by CC music for their further growth.
However, they are already famous in national and international market (Saltis, 2018).
Furthermore, they are start digitalization with open source technologies in their business. ERP is
fulfilling all the requirements of their business model. Open source technologies are providing
basic services for the company. In future, they can acquire their premium services as per their
needs and that are not so costly as well (theSOFTWAREpost, 2018).
Part C: Report
CC Music is a company in which they are performing in parties, events, T, and radio
programmes. There is a best way to choose an ERP software, which is choose according to our

requirements. In part B, there is a comparison table for different ERP softwares. Based on that
comparison table anyone can decide about the software (Anderson, et al., 2009).
CC music is not a large organization. Therefore, they should go for small to medium scale
enterprise ERP software. There are many way to make business plans for growth of an
organization (Chesbrough, 2010).
Roadmap is providing a way to complete different steps of business processes for success. It is a
process, which includes different things, such as business idea, implementation, and successes.
Roadmap is guiding for every business steps (Conceptdraw, 2018).
It has different phases and steps for getting success in business. CC music is implement ERP
software to establish their own website for different purposes. In below diagram phase one is
showing four step of road map, which are direction, connection, planning, and setup (Dwyer,
2009).
It is a first phase of roadmap to establish own business. A proper direction is provides a better
way to getting success in your business. Therefore, always choose proper way for business that is
based on the audiences. Second step is connection in which business should have a connection
with communities for support, such as friendship and accountability. Third step is planning in
which create a smart plan for business problems. Fourth step is setup of business in which owner
should provide a name for their organization (Heisig, 2003).

the revenue of business. If revenue is not generated from the business, then evaluate the problem
and it should change audience for the business (Hutt & Speh, 2012).
Phase 3 is having two steps, which are growth and scale. Growth is necessary in business and it
will check through revenue from the business. Scale should be maintained by organization for
growth (Jacob & Ulaga, 2008).

CRM or ERP software for different business processes. Mainly they want to digitalize their

Facebook, Instagram, tweeter, and many others. Social media platforms are beneficial for the
marketing as well as advertising of events and processes (KISSFLOW, 2018).
They must create their personal pages and account on the social media and they can use them in
their other methods of marketing, such as website. Social media posts are useful for attract the
customers for visit website of CC music (Teece, 2010).

processes. Present era is based on the technologies. Therefore, CC music should implement the

can provide booking for their clients in national and international level. It also grows their
business in international market. It is a way to introduce them at international level.
Music is not having a limited area. Therefore, it can be anywhere. CC music can use their
website for publish their work in all over the world. In addition, it is also beneficial for the

music is already famous in England. Now, they can famous in the entire world though their

CC music is must follow these recommendations for growth of their company. It is also
beneficial for profit in many terms. These recommendations are helping them in their
advertisement and marketing processes. These are some recommendations for CC music:

2. Develop central database for approaching their previous customers and their feedback.
3. Create new social media post for advertising and marketing of the company.
4. Develop new applications as per their requirements

Part D: Reflection on your contribution to the online discussion
I learnt about business process model of CC Music Company in that online discussion. CC
Music should go for open source softwares. There are many applications in the other paid ERP
softwares. According to requirement of CC Music Company, they are require basic functions for
managing their financial and accounts information. They also want to manage social media and
booking system. All these requirements are fulfill through Odoo open source technology.
I leant about background of CC Music as well as their future planning. Information and
communication technology is providing a huge change in the working processes of an

organization. Digitalization is basic requirement of a business for taking competitive advantage
in present marketplace.
I learnt about different open source technologies for ERP software. I learnt that digitalization is
necessary for growth of an organization at any level, such as small, medium and large. ERP
software is large-scale program for handling large organization business processes as well as
small business.
Odoo ERP software is providing different functions, which are required for CC Music, such as
accounting, ecommerce, Business intelligence, CRM, and many more. All the applications are
making a company better. It will beneficial for revenue and growth of CCC music.
I decided BPMN for the CC music as well as compare different ERP open source software
through a table. According to roadmap, cc music can get success from their efforts for launching
new business. It is a way to getting success. Many things are hurdle for the company, such as
less audience and many others. Therefore, they should follow the roadmap for the fully success.
